Job Description
This position is intended to be an hybrid role with responsibilities in inside sales and in customer service management. Recruitment will only be open for internal candidates. This position will report directly to the Country Sales Manager Iberia and in the dotted line to the Customer Service Manager Western EU.
Activities and duties will vary depending upon functional area assigned. Activities may include, but are not limited to the following and a great amount of flexibility and adaptability to business requirements is essential.
Key Responsibilities As Inside Sales Representative:
- Sells company's products and services by calling prospective and established customers.
- Manages and responds to customer concerns and problems. May arrange and provide for shipment and demonstration of products by sales personnel.
- Maintains sales programs within assigned territory by keeping customers informed about available services, supplies, prices and new products.
- Responsible for meeting established sales quotas.
- Monitors competitive activity and trends within territory.
- May travel to customer locations to follow-up or to make presentations or perform demonstrations.
- Quote prices, terms, delivery dates based on product knowledge/company forecasts and inventory.
- Prepare reports to document activities/results. Prepare monthly sales reports for the management team.
- Work with the customer service team to coordinate sales activity and expedite order fulfilment.
- Investigate and help resolve customer concerns promptly.
- Assist with the overall Sales effort in meeting divisional objectives.
- Act as liaison to Field Sales staff ; respond to requests for sales quotes and respond to customers.
- Identify and develop new and existing marketing opportunities through mailings, research, cold calling and trade show leads.
- Occasional travel with Field Sales staff, trade shows and sales meetings
- May collect information from customers and apply standard methods to provide a ROI (return on investment) analysis to customers.
- Order Management: Provide responsive and accurate order-entry service to customers by phone, fax, web and email, Provide a responsive order amendment, tracking and resolution service.
- Enquiry Handling: Manage after sales support & trouble-shooting - handle a wide range of customer enquiries, Communicate with manufacturing locations, on service performance, quality, capacity and stock.
- Account Management:- Monitor existing business, identify and follow-up on fluctuations in demand with customers, Forecast volume changes by product /customer into supply chain, quoting prices against given guidelines and maintain customer price-books.
- First Line Technical Support:Assist customers with product questions and resources – provide product & application recommendations, providing basic technical support to customers as applicable to level of experience (product catalogue questions, basic technical knowledge, etc.)

- High School Diploma needed, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Previous related experience, such as experience in a customer service or sales administration role. Strong communication, listening and negotiation skills.
- Ability to prioritise multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Good customer service skills.
- Good Knowledge on selling techniques and negotiation.
- Good level of English knowledge.
