Nickel, awarded the Happy@Work label for the third year in a row in 2023, is a payment entity part of the BNP Paribas Group. Our mission is to tackle financial exclusion through a simple, face-to-face and accessible service.

Our value proposition is based on a payment account, with a domestic IBAN and a Mastercard debit card that customers can open at certain lottery or tobacco shops in their neighborhood. This unique business model already serves more than 3 million customers and has more than 7,000 points of sales in France since its birth in 2014.

We are already close to 800 colleagues in Paris, Nantes, Madrid, Lisbon, Brussels and Berlin!

In Spain, Nickel launched its activity in 2021 and is currently experiencing a phase of strong growth. We already have 1,600 Nickel points of sales spread throughout the territory.

Mission

As part of General Secretary team for Nickel Spanish Branch, Office Manager will oversee office management and purchasing activities taking care of facilities, ensuring the safety of employees and buildings, managing premises, real estate, etc.

Office Manager is responsible for keeping the office running smoothly and overseeing administrative support.

Responsibilities

The Office Manager main missions are:

Office Management

  • Ensuring safety of employees and buildings and managing real estate by watching over office conditions
  • Travels and events organization (in-house or offsite activities (e.g. celebrations or conferences)
  • Organizing office layout, purchasing office supplies and equipment and maintain proper stock levels
  • Managing corporate fleets: cars, mobile, IT equipment, etc.
  • Provide general support to potential visitors and office accesses management
  • Mail and courier management
  • Act as a local point of contact with corporate IT teams
  • Serve as SPOC for office manager duties and address employee queries regarding office management issues
  • Maintenance of local Intranet
  • Managing the onboarding of new employees duly and on time, as well as departures (materials recovery)


Procurement

  • Manage purchasing function (purchasing office supplies and taking proper inventory) in collaboration with all operational Directors in Spain
  • Coordinate Spanish purchasing activities of local suppliers (RFXs, contracting, etc. ) in compliance with Nickel policy and all related risks


Finance Support

  • In charge of corporate cards management
  • Audit all expenses according to the current expenses policy


Requirements

  • Computer skills
  • MS Office and Google (GSuite) environments
  • Proven offcie management, administrative or assistant experience
