About Us 👋

Hello! We are Samara, the solar installation startup that goes beyond self-consumption. We are here to accelerate the energy transition of households towards a more efficient, smarter and more sustainable model.

We are a high-growth startup that, above all, prioritizes people and the planet. We've just raised a €11 million financing round led by technology and sustainability-focused european funds. This capital increase will help us to continue our growth path and develop new products and services, so our team is constantly growing. We are now looking to expand our HVACs Team.

In line with our values, at Samara we firmly believe that the climate crisis is the biggest challenge facing our generation. Housing, in particular, is one of the main sources of carbon emissions in developed countries. We are optimistic by nature and think it is possible to do things differently: one that combines electrification, distributed generation, energy storage and software that enables more efficient energy management.

What are you going to do? 🌱

You will be part of the initial HVAC Sales team, helping Samara expand its impact beyond solar by offering efficient, sustainable heating and cooling solutions to families and homeowners across Spain. You will be the first point of contact for customers interested in replacing or upgrading their heating systems (aerothermal heat pumps, ACS, radiant floor, fancoils…), and your goal will be to convert these leads into happy Samara customers.

These will be some of your key responsibilities:

  • Educate and advise homeowners on the benefits of Samara’s HVAC solutions — from energy efficiency and comfort to long-term savings and sustainability.
  • Qualify leads coming from marketing, referrals or partner channels, identifying which customers are ready to move forward and which may need more nurturing.
  • Build and present tailored proposals using Samara's internal tools, helping customers understand the technical and economic value of making the switch.
  • Guide the customer through the sales process, from the first conversation to contract signature, ensuring a smooth and trusted experience.
  • Coordinate closely with the HVAC Project Management and Ops team to ensure a seamless post-sale customer journey and successful installations.
  • Bring continuous feedback to the rest of the team — we're building this vertical from scratch, and your input will help improve processes, tools and product-market fit.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Energy Managers, Ops, Marketing and Product to improve the customer experience and identify new growth opportunities.
  • Build trust and credibility in this new vertical, becoming a key player in helping Samara scale its HVAC offering.
  • Help build a unique company-wide culture as we redefine the energy industry forever.

  • Customer-centric: You’re passionate about helping customers and prescribers, listening carefully to their needs and guiding them to lower energy bills—while making a positive impact on the planet.

  • Flexible and resilient: You thrive in a startup environment where iteration is constant. Mistakes are part of the journey—but you’re quick to learn and improve.
  • Adaptable: You feel at home in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable navigating ambiguity and change.
  • Relevant experience: Sales experience is highly valued, even if it’s not in the energy sector. We’ll tailor your onboarding to suit your background and experience.
  • Language: Fluency in Spanish is required.
