Mission

The Lawyer trainee will be a part of and work collaboratively with the Headquarters Legal and Compliance teams on commercial contracts, corporate governance, compliance and data privacy matters and legal operations projects. The lawyer trainee will provide support to colleagues in Legal and Compliance and to business partners as directed by managers and other functional leaders.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

• Review and draft different kinds of contracts and amendments.
• Draft, review and maintain templates.
• Support in drafting guidelines and policies.
• Provide support in privacy matters, reviewing questionnaires and providing direction under supervision of privacy experts.
• Support internal processes operated by the Legal Team.
• Collaborate in projects aimed at further improving processes and efficiency of the Legal Team.
• Provide legal support for corporate governance housekeeping.
  
  

Education

• Master student preferably in business/commercial law/Data Privacy/Legal tech and/or new technologies.
  
  

Experience

Prior experience is desirable but not required.

Specific Knowledge & Competences

• Good drafting and review skills.
• Good communication capabilities – Fluent English and Spanish (oral and written) required.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented .
• Influencing skills and persuasiveness.
• Ability to work largely autonomously with limited direct supervision on assigned tasks.
