What We're Looking For

We are seeking an experienced individual with a strong background in sports science, health and physical training or wellbeing to shape and oversee all wellness related programming across our health and fitness platforms. This role will set the strategic direction, style, and tone for the quality and consistency of training provided to our users.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategy & Vision
• Consolidate and improve our wellness, and behaviour change methodologies. Make them real for our customers
• Work with wellness science and industry experts to define and implement unique, welltech training and wellness programmes for our global audience
• Work with our Product, and Content teams to help us to build ever more impactful wellness plans
• Continuously adapt and innovate our approach based on industry trends and evolving user needs
• Content Inspiration and Oversight
• Work closely with product leads to ensure our workout, and wellness programmes align with digital product strategies and user expectations
• Adapt training programs to cultural and regional contexts, climates, age groups, fitness preferences. Monitor and comply with local regulations and constraints to maintain brand integrity and user trust in global markets
• Building a network of experts (either in-house or freelance) who specialise in fitness, wellness and nutrition
• Digital Collaboration
• Partner with product leads to guide digital content development and maintain up-to-date market insights
• Initiate and manage sports campaigns such as seasonal or goal-oriented programs (e.g. ‘New Year, New Me’)
• Engage thought leaders, fitness influencers, and medical professionals to co-create projects that enhance the overall value to users
  

Required skills:

• Deep expertise in wellness, fitness, and behaviour change, with both academic grounding (e.g. exercise science, sports medicine, psychology, public health or related fields) and practical application in real-world programs
• Proven strategic leadership in a relevant domain (wellness, fitness, digital health), including setting a vision, building roadmaps, and influencing cross‑functional stakeholders
• Strong science communication skills, able to translate complex wellness and behavioural science into clear, engaging, and actionable guidance for a broad consumer audience
• Experience building and leading expert teams, including recruiting, coaching, and aligning academics, practitioners, and creators around a shared methodology and quality bar
• Fluent with digital products and content workflows, including using data and digital tools to brief, review, and iterate on classes, programs, and multi‑modal content
• Exceptional collaboration and stakeholder management, with the ability to partner closely with Product, Content, Marketing, and Legal across multiple markets
• Outstanding written and verbal communication and organisation skills, with attention to detail and consistency in tone, style, and brand voice
• Relevant professional certifications or education in sports science, coaching, wellness, nutrition, or related disciplines; higher degrees (Master’s/PhD) in a relevant field are a strong plus
