About the Role

For contract work, we're looking for a skilled senior mechanical engineer. You would need to support the development of the mechanical system prototype in Fusion 360, FEA structural and thermal analyses, prototype assembly, and testing in Barcelona.

Responsibilities

• Development of a mechanical system prototype in Fusion 360
• Conduct FEA structural and thermal analyses
• Prototype assembly
• Testing in Barcelona

Skills & Qualifications

• Extensive experience with Fusion 360 Mechanical and Simulation
• Expert knowledge of mechanical principles
• Portfolio of works showing your experience
• Rapid Prototyping skills
• FEA, DFM experience
• Fluent English

Preferred Skills

• Experience in a startup environment
• Experience with solar and battery energy storage systems

Pay range and compensation package

• Contract work >25 hrs/week
• Barcelona's presence for hybrid work
• Market rate based on experience and availability
• Possible to transition to a full-time position with equity options at a well-funded US/EU startup.
