Our client are an IT consultancy with offices in Malaga and Madrid and operating on a global scale. They are looking to hire a Senior IT Project Manager who will join an established team to work on a range of complex projects relating to IT Infrastructure that will include Data Centres, Networking, Security, Storage, Platforms or Dev Ops.

You’ll be the person owning the entire lifecycle of projects from inception to deployment including operational handover.

As a Senior Project Manager you will manage medium to large, complex IT projects with multiple workstreams. This will cover every step of the process where you will agree the project objectives, scope, timeline, budget and key deliverables. You will work with project sponsors and key stakeholders on requirements gathering before establishing the overall project plan, milestones and timelines. As the projects progress you will mitigate risk, manage team capacity, manage customer relationships and prepare relevant project documentation such as project charter, project plans, status reports and risk logs.

The Successful Senior IT Project Manager will have:

• Previous experience in a similar IT Project Manager role operating at a senior level delivering complex infrastructure projects such as platform build, network, data, security and data centres
• A background in IT prior to Project Management where you have gained strong technical knowledge and the ability to translate technical requirements
• In-depth knowledge of Waterfall and Agile methodologies. Relevant Project Management qualifications would be advantageous
• Clear communication and excellent stakeholder engagement skills
