Direct message the job poster from Coalesce Management ConsultingFor one of our key clients and world leaders in materials technology, Coalesce Management Consulting (CMC) is looking for a Project Engineer to assist our client in the realization/construction of one of their megaprojects in Northern Spain.Once the construction phase begins, full on-site presence will be required, expected towards the end of this year or early next year.Please note that you would initially work as an independent consultant (autónomo) through CMC, with the client's intention to make the role permanent after a successful collaboration within or after the 2-year contract.The Project Engineer will coordinate the design and construction within their area of responsibility and should possess the following qualities:University degree or equivalent in Engineering, preferably Civil, Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or Instrumentation/Automation.Technical experience in engineering project execution, especially in the above-mentioned fields.Relevant experience in industrial project execution in operational environments.Knowledge of design software (e.G., AutoCAD).Understanding of EHS standards, industry practices, and legal requirements relevant to the focus area.Proficiency in Spanish and English, both written and verbal.Computer literacy, especially MS Office.Ability to perform tasks according to established rules and procedures.The role involves working closely with the Program Director & Project Manager to:Prepare, review, and approve technical documentation for project design phases, ensuring standards, guidelines, safety, and cost-effectiveness.Ensure completeness and competitiveness of project documents for tender processes.Support procurement by screening bids and confirming receipt of components and works.Control costs during project execution.Supervise construction, installation, and commissioning within the assigned area.Coordinate with other engineering teams to integrate work and meet deadlines without delays.Execute tasks efficiently, safely, reliably, and cost-effectively, delivering on time.Make timely quality decisions within engineering responsibilities.Gather data to inform decision-makers on complex issues.Propose procedural, organizational, technological, or productivity improvements.Capture feedback and lessons learned for future projects.Participate in internal and external audits.Perform all tasks safely, complying with environmental, health, and safety regulations.If you're ready for this challenge and eager to be part of building a unique plant in a future-oriented industry, apply for more information or send your CV to ****** level Mid-Senior levelEmployment type Full-timeJob function Business Consulting and ServicesReferrals can double your chances of interviewing at CMC.
