Country Manager (Hospitality Industry)

Location: Spain

Salary: €60,000–€80,000 + 10% bonus

Languages: Spanish language fluency required (Portuguese is a plus)

Set-Up: Hybrid with domestic travel

About the Role

A leading provider of inspection and certification services is seeking a Country Manager to lead and grow its Spanish operations in the hospitality and retail sectors. This leadership role carries full P&L ownership, responsibility for scaling inspection and certification services, and driving commercial success with top hospitality brands and international tour operators.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Spanish operations with full P&L ownership (~€1M), delivering 20% YoY growth.
• Build and manage a team of 10–30 auditors and staff, driving performance culture.
• Oversee hospitality assurance services: audits, inspections, and hygiene testing.
• Develop and grow client relationships with major tour operators and hotel groups.
• Represent the company in Spain, driving brand visibility and market expansion.

What We’re Looking For

• Full professional proficiency in Spanish (Portuguese a strong plus).
• Based in Spain or open to relocating
• Proven track record in commercial leadership, business development, and team management.
• Experience in hospitality, tourism, facility services, or related B2B service industries.
• Strong operational awareness, with the ability to oversee audits and quality assurance processes.
• TIC industry knowledge is a plus but not required.
