We are a sustainable infrastructure company with a majority of our business in renewable energy assets. We complement our portfolio of renewable assets with storage, efficient natural gas and transmission infrastructure assets, as enablers of the transition towards a clean energy mix. Our purpose is to support the transition towards a more sustainable world by investing in and managing sustainable infrastructure, while creating long-term value for our investors and the rest of our stakeholders.
We currently own or have an interest in a portfolio of diversified assets in terms of business sector and geographic footprint. Our portfolio consists of 40 assets with 2,048 MW of aggregate renewable energy installed generation capacity (of which approximately 72% is solar), 343 MW of efficient natural gas-fired power generation capacity, 55MWt of district heating capacity, 1,229 miles of electric transmission lines and 17.5 M ft3 per day of water desalination.
We own and manage operating facilities throughout the North America, South America and EMEA regions.
We are currently seeking for a Junior Compliance Analyst based in Madrid to work with and strengthen our Compliance team.
Responsibilities
- Researching industry compliance regulations and policies.
- Evaluating internal operational and procedural compliance.
- Identifies, develops, and assists with the management and control of compliance risks
- Analyzing and updating existing compliance policies and related documentation.
- Communicating compliance policies and guidelines to Compliance Committee and designated departments.
- Developing and executing new compliance policies and procedures as required.
- Applying for compliance certification and regulatory approval.
- Developing and maintaining a compliance recordkeeping system.
- Training employees on industry compliance requirements.
- Maintaining communication with compliance regulators and following up on applications.
- Keeping up with compliance requirements and amendments to regulations
- Manages the daily responsibilities adherent to this position
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Risk Management, Law, or Audit.
- Compliance master’s degree is desirable.
- Excellent English language skills (written and speaking) C2 level is a must.

- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Detailed-oriented and organized
- Ability to multi-task
- Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
Technical Qualifications
- Experience of 2 years or more in a Compliance role in the energy sector or Big Four.
- Proven track record of playing a leadership role in a work environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (advancedExcel and PowerPoint is a must).

We are currently seeking for a HR Technician to work with and strengthen our People and Culture team based in the Madrid office.
Responsibilities
- Support in the analysis of technical information, selecting and ordering data in order to issue reports in the desired format.
- Prepare, issue, follow-up and archive correspondence and communications with training suppliers and employees, coordinating details, information, etc.
- Manage the Atlantica Training process, from contacting suppliers, performing internal an external training courses, recording approvals and invoices, managing the training performance details, keep track of the effectiveness and quality, understand the development requirements, and align them with our training plans, etc.
- Support the recruitment function preparing job posts, screening applications, performing phone filters and competencies interviews, etc.
- Perform monthly management of KPIS reports.
- Other tasks and objectives inherent to the People and Culture department
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Law, Psychology, or similar.
- Excellent English language skills (written and speaking) C1 level is a must.
Personal Skills
- Problem-solving oriented and strong analytical skills.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to successfully interact with multicultural and cross-functional teams.
- Adaptability, flexibility, and the ability to work under pressure.
Technical Qualifications
- Experience of 1-3 years or more working in the HR department of an International Company (preferably in the energy sector).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (advanced Excel is a must).
- Cornerstone knowledge and expertise is desirable.
