The opportunity:
We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Specialist to join our team in Spain or UK. In this role, you will lead business development efforts for one of our key business areas while also supporting Key Account Management (KAM) activities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives on building relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and driving strategic initiatives forward. If you’re a self-starter with strong commercial acumen and a passion for creating impact, we’d love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible to identify key top events in the market.
- Ensure quality inventories (coverage, ticket options and market prices) to customers for the entire event cycle, due to contact interaction with Top sellers in the market.
- Understand the sports and music landscape and dynamics and be the “ear on the ground”.
- Account management of sellers (Analysis of sellers performance & Company’s needs to Implement incentive schemes to key suppliers).
- Sellers & events risk assessment.
- Monitoring sellers performance on other competitors.
- Elaborate forecast and accountability.
- Permanent communication and coordination with the rest of departments in the company to grant optimal performance of the event (# listings, maps, prices & event info) as well as the best possible experience (seller and buyer).
- Seek for ways of improvement regarding our service, tools and seeking feedback from suppliers.
Requirements:
- Excellent relationship-building skills with strong ability to negotiate with stakeholders and suppliers.
- Excellent communication (both oral and written), interpersonal and influencing skills.
- Good understanding of online marketplaces. Self motivated and able to work well under pressure.
- Business understanding of the ticketing industry, is a plus.
- Work experience in Sports &/or Music industry is a plus.
- Results oriented with ability to plan and deliver against deadlines.
- Data driven, analytical and problem solving abilities.
- Fluent in English.
- Based in Spain or UK.
