We are looking for a Financial Manager for European Projects for a consulting firm in the agri-food, bioeconomy, and sustainability sector, based in central Madrid.

- Permanent contract
- Between 27.000 y 30.000 euros gross per year, depending on experience. (Salary may be revised for junior profiles after performance review).

- Thematic team-building events twice a year during working hours.
- Monday to Thursday: Flexible start between 8:00–9:15 (daily meeting at 9:15), finish between 17:00–18:15. 1-hour lunch break. Friday: Start between 8:00–9:15, finish between 14:30–15:45. 30-minute break.
- Flexibility: Hybrid model with 3 remote working days and 2 office days (central Madrid).
- Supporting the financial reporting of European projects (Horizon Europe, CBE JU, LIFE, etc.).
- Progressively learning the reporting process with guidance from the team.
- Actively contributing to the preparation of proposals for European funding calls.
- Coordinating and monitoring project-related documentation and administrative tasks.
- Supporting in company accounting tasks (e.g. internal invoicing).
- Participating in occasional travel across Europe depending on project needs.
- C2 level of English (mandatory). This will be assessed during the interview process.
- Basic knowledge of accounting or experience in administrative tasks.
- Genuine interest in sustainability, innovation, agri-food sector and bioeconomy.
- Willingness to learn and motivation to develop in the area of European project reporting.
- Availability to travel occasionally within Europe.
- Previous experience in the reporting or management of European projects.
- Familiarity with European funding programmes such as Horizon Europe, CBE JU, LIFE, EIC, Erasmus+, etc.
- Previous international experience (studies, internships, scholarships, living abroad...).
- Experience in administrative tasks.
