Position: QA Software Tester (Temenos)

Occasional onsite presence required in Palma and/or Madrid

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced QA Software Tester with Temenos Core Banking expertise to join the Technical Quality Office within the IT Development organization. The role involves ensuring the quality of software development and system enhancements for banking applications utilizing the Temenos Transact Core Banking System.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor quality assurance strategies and testing processes.
• Manage test execution and defect tracking using Jira, Zephyr, and Power BI.
• Design, execute, and maintain:
• Manual and automated functional tests
• API testing
• Regression testing
• User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Accounting period-end testing procedures
• Perform API test automation using Postman, Insomnia, or similar tools (preferred).
• Develop and execute frontend test automation using Selenium or similar automation frameworks (preferred).
• Collaborate with the Internationalization team to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Required Skills & Experience

Mandatory

• QA Testing experience in Temenos environments
• Hands-on experience with Temenos Transact R21 or later (current version R24).
• Strong knowledge of Payments (TPH) module.
• Experience in test planning, execution, defect management, and reporting.
• Spanish language proficiency at C1/C2 level or Native.
• English proficiency at B2/C1 level (Fluent) with the ability to lead and conduct meetings in English.

Preferred

• Temenos certifications.
• Experience in Temenos configuration and parameterization.
• API automation experience using Postman, Insomnia, or equivalent tools.
• Frontend automation experience using Selenium or similar frameworks.

Service Schedule

• Time Zone: Spain (Peninsula & Balearic Islands)
• Working Hours: 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM

Work Model

• Remote working arrangement.
• Availability for occasional onsite sessions in Palma and/or Madrid when required.
