Laboratory Assistant at Nanobioengineering the Research Group UnitThe Nanobioengineering Group is seeking a Laboratory Assistant to perform technical analysis on the blood-brain barrier-on-a-chip (BBB-oC) in vitro model developed by the group.

The contract is part of the "Plan Complementario de Biotecnología aplicada a la Salud," aimed at promoting high throughput screening projects to accelerate drug discovery.

Main Tasks and ResponsibilitiesThe Laboratory Assistant will support standardized tasks including:

Production of microfluidic devicesCell culture and characterizationPermeability assaysData acquisition and processingEssential RequirementsDegree in Chemistry, Biology, or related disciplinesPrevious laboratory experienceExperience in cell cultureExperience with imaging techniques (epifluorescence/confocal microscopy)Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary and international teamsStrong communication, teamwork, proactivity, commitment, critical and analytical thinking skillsProficiency in EnglishAdvantageous SkillsMultidisciplinary qualifications and knowledge of microfluidicsCompetencies and SkillsWe value technical expertise and core competencies such as Communication, Teamwork, Commitment, Proactivity, Integrity, and Critical Thinking.
