ROLE SUMMARY:

King’s College School Soto de Viñuelas is seeking to appoint an inspiring and knowledgeable Business Studies & Economics Teacher to join our successful secondary team. The role will involve teaching across Key Stages 3–5, with a focus on A Level provision.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Deliver engaging and rigorous lessons in Business Studies and/or Economics across Secondary and A Level.
• Prepare students effectively for public examinations (A Levels and/or GCSE).
• Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment within the department.
• Monitor student progress and provide high-quality feedback to support achievement.
• Participate fully in the wider life of the school community.
  
  

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

• A relevant degree in Business, Economics or a related field.
• PGCE, QTS, or equivalent, with excellent academic credentials and, ideally, evidence of post-graduate study.
• Experience teaching Business Studies and/or Economics at secondary level (A Level experience desirable).
• Strong subject knowledge and a commitment to academic excellence.
• The ability to inspire, challenge and support students of varying abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.
