Role Overview


We are looking for a dynamic and creative Community Manager to grow and engage one of our clients community across retail touchpoints — from in-store events and customer interactions to social media conversations and local partnerships. You will be the bridge between the brand and its customers, creating experiences that drive loyalty, advocacy, and repeat visits.


Key Responsibilities


  • Community Building – Cultivate relationships with local customers, influencers, businesses, and partners to build a strong, connected community around the store.
  • Content Creation & Social Media – Capture and share authentic moments from the store on our social channels (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, etc.), responding to comments, messages, and mentions. As well as manage the content claender.
  • Event Planning & Execution – Organize and manage in-store events, workshops, pop-ups, and collaborations that bring the community together.
  • Feedback Loop – Gather customer feedback, identify trends in conversations, and share insights with the marketing and retail teams to improve customer experience.
  • Brand Advocacy – Ensure brand values are communicated consistently in all interactions, both online and offline.
  • Loyalty Program Support – Promote and grow our loyalty club membership through proactive engagement and personalized communication.


Requirements


  • Proven experience as a Community Manager, Social Media Manager, or customer-facing retail role.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with diverse audiences.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills in [languages required, e.g., Spanish + English].
  • A creative eye for capturing visual content (photo/video) for social media.
  • Ability to organize and execute events, from planning to post-event follow-up.
  • Passion for retail, fashion, and building communities.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and proactive.


Nice-to-Have


  • Experience with influencer outreach or local partnership building.
  • Knowledge of social media analytics and engagement tools.
  • Familiarity with [specific POS/CRM/Loyalty systems].
  • Experience with Klaviyo mailing tool or equivalent.
  • Experience using the Adobe Suite.
