The Role:
We are thrilled to welcome a new CAD Technician to our team. In this role, you will support the design and engineering team by creating detailed technical drawings and schematics for multi-utility projects. Working closely with senior engineers and project coordinators, you will help develop, update, and maintain designs for infrastructure networks, including gas, water, electric, and telecom systems.
Your key responsibilities will include
- Prepare and revise 2D and 3D CAD drawings for multi-utility projects using AutoCAD and other relevant software, adhering to project specifications and industry standards.
- Maintain detailed records and documentation of design changes, revisions, and updates to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with senior technicians, engineers, and project managers to understand project requirements and deliver accurate, timely designs.
- Ensure that all drawings and specifications meet relevant codes, regulations, and client standards.
- Stay up-to-date with AutoCAD software updates, CAD standards, and best practices in multi-utility project design.
Requirements
- High level of AutoCAD.
- Ability to effectively understand and interpret complex engineering drawings.
- Excellent IT literacy with the ability to use MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook.
- Strong proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical team members.
- Willingness to learn, take direction, and collaborate in a team setting.

Working Hours
- 38 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5pm, Friday 8.30am to 14:30pm.
