⁠Sustainability Project Coordinator – Join Carbon Complete

Carbon Complete is hiring for an exciting full-time position in CBAM consultancy and training, ESG reporting, and carbon reduction planning. We're searching for individuals with a strong interest in sustainable practices, a flexible mindset, and the drive to grow with us. 

About Carbon Complete 

Carbon Complete started with a simple goal: to help businesses address the challenges of carbon management and sustainability in a practical, impactful way. We support companies with CBAM compliance, ESG reporting, and carbon reduction planning, partnering with organizations to meet their sustainability goals. 

We are an official IACBAM training partner and deliver CBAM training globally, in multiple languages, tailored to the needs of different businesses. As part of the Complete Group, we work closely with our sister company, Customs Complete, providing end-to-end support for sustainable trade and carbon management. 

Our focus is on delivering real results rather than ticking boxes. We take a practical approach to sustainability, helping businesses make measurable progress based on clear actions and requirements. 

Carbon Complete is a small team and a start-up business so we are looking for individuals that can work independently and who are willing to adapt to the needs of the company and help to drive and grow all aspects of the business.

Location 

This is an on-site role based in Barcelona, Spain. The role requires occasional travel within Ireland and the UK for training and consultancy sessions. 

Key Responsibilities 

• CBAM Consultancy: Provide guidance and support to businesses on CBAM requirements. 
• CBAM Training: Deliver CBAM training sessions globally. 
• ESG Reporting: Assist clients in preparing Environmental, Social, and Governance reports. 
• Carbon Reduction Plans: Develop and implement actionable strategies to reduce carbon footprints. 
• Sustainability Grant Applications: Help businesses identify and apply for relevant sustainability funding opportunities. 
• Sales & Marketing Support: Play an active role in business growth by contributing to sales activities and marketing initiatives. Including: preparing blogs and webinars, conducting sales meetings, cold calling and prospecting new companies. 

What We’re Looking For 

• Interest in Sustainability: A genuine passion for sustainable practices and making a difference. 
• Adaptability & Flexibility: Ability to thrive in a fast-changing startup environment, work independently, and take ownership of new opportunities. 
• Experience: Some prior experience in sustainability, carbon management, or ESG reporting is desirable but not essential. 
• Proactive Attitude: A self-starter who is eager to learn, grow, and contribute to the business. 
• Team-Oriented: Willingness to collaborate while taking initiative to drive projects forward. 
• French / other languages: Highly desirable but not essential

Job Type: Full-time
