Descripción del empleo
Main functions:
- Coordinate domestic export shipments, ensuring timely pickup and delivery.
- Prepare and manage export documentation in compliance with regulations.
- Communicate with carriers, customers, and internal departments to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations.
- Track and trace shipments, providing updates and proactive solutions.
- Maintain accurate records in Expeditors’ systems.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the Transcon department.
- Meet compliance at all times with internal and external regulations in accordance with government requirements.
- Understand department process flow and seek best practices to improve operational efficiency and productivity.
- Ensure all customer Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are in place and updated in the DLSOP system.
- Meet KPI standards in accordance with the company’s procedures.
Qualifications:
- Experience in logistics, transportation, or export operations required.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Studies: Logistics and transport, or related.
- A command of and previous experience in Customer Service.
- Fluency in English and Spanish.
- Computer skills for the use of Microsoft Office package (Intermediate Level).
- Willingness to learn.
