🏢 About the Project
DIGIT A3, in close collaboration with other Commission departments, delivers high-quality corporate information systems that support legislative, policy, and HR functions. You'll contribute to a variety of solutions, such as:
- HR systems: SYSPER, e-SIRE, NDP
- Financial rights: NAP, MiPS, PABS
- Recruitment: Talent Suite, Candidate Portal
- Document management: ARES, HAN
- Decision-making tools: DECIDE, LEOS/EdiT, ECI
🎯 Your Key Responsibilities
As Scrum Product Owner, you will:
- Act as the final authority on priorities, business value, and product functionality
- Own and refine the product backlog based on ROI and business value
- Liaise with business stakeholders to validate requirements
- Drive solution design by aligning IT tools with business processes
- Participate in agile ceremonies (sprint planning, demos, retrospectives, etc.)
- Facilitate product acceptance and ensure stakeholder alignment
Must-have:
- Solid knowledge of Agile/Scrum frameworks
- Ability to communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Clear, structured writing and documentation skills
- High-quality standards in deliverables
- Proven experience in enterprise-level multi-user IT systems
- Comfortable working in international/multicultural teams
- Team player with excellent interpersonal skills
- Self-starter with high integrity and discretion
- Ability to work in multilingual settings
- EQF Level 7 (Master’s degree or 5 years of higher education)
- One of the following certifications is required:
- CSPO – Certified Scrum Product Owner
- PSPO – Professional Scrum Product Owner
- SAFe Product Owner or equivalent
- The role is 100% remote within EU territory
- Laptop will be provided and must be collected in Brussels
- Interviews will be scheduled within 15 working days of submission
- No extra services or costs are expected beyond standard rates
