As the UX UI Designer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the user experience of our Digital Banking product. In this unique role for the new pan-European Ecosystem you will work closely with the UX UI Design and Experience Lead and cross-functional teams to design and develop visually appealing and user-friendly digital banking journeys.

Role Responsibilities
  • You will collaborate with product development and management teams to understand customer requirements and translate them into intuitive and engaging user interfaces.
  • You will create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity visual designs for web and mobile applications. You will conduct user research and testing to validate design decisions and gather feedback to inform future design iterations.
  • You will stay current with the latest trends and advancements in UX and UI design and contribute to the development of design guidelines, best practices, and design systems.
  • You will mentor and guide product teams by providing constructive feedback on product design.
  • Collaborating to ensure digital banking growth initiatives within the broader Western Union entity, liaising with regional & cross-functional teams.
Role Requirements
  • For this important role you will 10+ experience in UX UI design, ideally with a focus on digital banking, financial services, or fintech, although candidates with other relevant experience will be considered.
  • You have a strong portfolio demonstrating your experience in creating user-centered digital products.
  • You can demonstrate proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and Figma.
  • You have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and gather feedback from stakeholders.
  • You encompass a broad understanding of user-centered design principles, and experience conducting user research and testing.
  • Previous experience of agile working methodologies is desirable along with strong digital analytical skills.
  • A strong academic background including qualifications (or equivalence in experience) in Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, or a related field is advantageous.
  • Excellent written and spoken English and Spanish are essential and all other language skills welcomed.
