RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support gathering of requirements and creation of user stories.
- Design solutions and do configurations/customization.
- Support the technical consultants in functional topics.
- Prepare and execute functional tests.
- Maintain user documentation.
- Maintenance and Creation of Outputs via Adobe Form
- Collaborate with internal BASF partners.
- Support ongoing activities related to output. Work on tickets, this comprises analysis of the issues, implementation of solutions, instruction, and training of the affected user.
- Support change requests / projects with effort estimations.
- Active participation in Scrum events; proactive, self-organized pulling of tasks from an agile backlog.
- Support of the BASF Digital roadmap, helping GDS to identify, execute and implement customer-centric digital solutions in an actionable and measurable way.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Successfully completed studies in computer science, business informatics or a comparable qualification
- Minimum 4-6 years related working experience with complex SAP applications.
- Experience with S/4 HANA
- Good functional knowledge of processes in SAP SD / Order-To-Cash
- Good knowledge of SAP SD customization.
- Knowledge of SAP output technologies: Adobe Forms
- Working in an international environment, excellent English language skills
- Agile mindset, self-organized way of working.
Nice to have
- Experience with SAP Fiori
- Know-how of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)
- Know-how of other SAP modules like MM / FI / TM
- Experience with agile frameworks like Scrum or Kanban
- Good communication skills
- Good team player

We are seeking an exceptionally experienced IT Program Architect with a profound expertise in Salesforce and CRM digital solutions to join our elite IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and overseeing the implementation of comprehensive Salesforce solutions that align with our strategic business goals. This role requires a deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, advanced CRM solutions, and the ability to lead complex, multi-faceted projects. The IT Program Architect will play a pivotal role in transforming our CRM capabilities and driving digital innovation across the organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Architectural Design and Strategy:
- Develop and maintain the overall architecture for Salesforce and CRM digital solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Define architectural standards, guidelines, and best practices for Salesforce implementations.
- Create and maintain architectural blueprints, roadmaps, and documentation.
Program Leadership:
- Support the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale Salesforce programs and projects.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, developers, and other IT professionals, to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring timely resolution and communication.
Solution Development:
- Oversee the design and development of custom Salesforce solutions, including integrations with other systems and platforms.
- Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and adhere to industry standards and best practices.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders and stakeholders, providing insights and recommendations on Salesforce and CRM strategies.
- Facilitate workshops, presentations, and meetings to gather requirements, present solutions, and obtain buy-in from stakeholders.
MORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Continuous Improvement:
- Stay current with Salesforce advancements, industry trends, and emerging technologies.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation within the Salesforce ecosystem.
- Drive the adoption of new features, functionalities, and best practices.
Governance and Compliance:
- Establish and enforce governance frameworks to ensure compliance with organizational policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular reviews and audits of Salesforce solutions to ensure adherence to governance practices.
REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION
- Bachelor´s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master´s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT, with at least 7 years focused on Salesforce and CRM solutions.
- Salesforce Architect certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Technical Architect, Salesforce Certified Application Architect) strongly preferred.
- Proven track record of leading and delivering complex Salesforce programs and projects.
- Deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, data model, security, and integration patterns
- Strong knowledge of CRM best practices, digital transformation, and customer engagement strategies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
