ROLE SUMMARY:
Kensington School, Madrid, a prestigious British international school with over 50 years’ history, is seeking a dynamic, forward-looking Teacher of English. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing English Department delivering IGCSE and IB programmes, in a supportive and ambitious international school setting.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Deliver high-quality English lessons across KS3–5, including IGCSE and IB.
- Plan and implement a broad, balanced, and differentiated curriculum.
- Monitor and support student progress, ensuring all pupils reach their potential.
- Contribute to curriculum development, lesson planning, and departmental initiatives.
- Serve as a form tutor and support the pastoral development of students.
- Maintain accurate records and track student performance.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
- Participate in staff development, performance management, and school-wide initiatives.
- Support extracurricular English and literacy enrichment programmes.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a relevant undergraduate degree.
- Successful teaching experience at secondary level, ideally teaching English at IGCSE and IB levels.
- Understanding of effective teaching strategies and curriculum requirements across KS3–5.
- Ability to create an engaging, motivating, and safe learning environment.
- Strong organisational, planning, and ICT skills.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and develop positive relationships with staff and students.
- Commitment to raising student aspirations and supporting their holistic development.

ROLE SUMMARY:
Kensington School, Madrid, is seeking temporary Exam Invigilators to support the smooth and secure administration of IGCSE and IB mock and final exams. These roles are crucial in ensuring fairness and compliance during the exam period.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise candidates during exams to maintain a calm and orderly environment.
- Ensure compliance with IGCSE and IB regulations and maintain exam security.
- Distribute and collect exam papers and materials accurately.
- Address any issues or incidents that arise during exams promptly and appropriately.
- Support the administrative team in ensuring the smooth running of exam sessions.
- Vigilance, impartiality, and the ability to remain composed under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail and punctuality.
- Clear communication skills in English (minimum B2 level).
- Reliability, professionalism, and a commitment to safeguarding students.
- Previous invigilation experience is desirable but not essential.
