OneTalent is recruiting an IT Application Maintenance Specialist- AMS (SAP Planning & Operations) for a leading international group operating in the food and consumer goods industry, with a strong presence across Europe and Africa and a portfolio of well-known brands.

🎯The Role

Reporting to the IT Service Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability, support and continuous improvement of business-critical applications across the organization.

You will act as the key liaison between business stakeholders, external service providers and internal IT teams, ensuring incidents, service requests and enhancement initiatives are delivered efficiently and aligned with business priorities.

For this particular position, we are especially interested in candidates with experience supporting Planning, Operations and Supply Chain-related applications.

The role requires the ability to understand business processes, manage application services and effectively coordinate support activities across multiple stakeholders.

The role combines application management, service delivery, stakeholder management and continuous improvement in a highly international environment.

💼Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day support and service delivery of business applications.
• Coordinate external AMS and support partners, ensuring agreed service levels are achieved.
• Monitor incidents, service requests and problem management activities.
• Ensure application availability, stability and business continuity.
• Track and report service KPIs and performance metrics.
• Act as the main point of contact between business users and IT support teams.
• Gather business requirements and coordinate application enhancements.
• Support application roadmaps and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participate in projects, upgrades, deployments and system enhancements.
• Ensure proper documentation, governance and knowledge management practices.
• Collaborate closely with Planning, Operations and Supply Chain stakeholders to understand business needs and priorities.

💻Functional Scope

The successful candidate will support applications related to planning and operational business processes, including:

• Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP)
• Demand Planning
• Supply Planning
• Inventory Planning
• Order Management
• Production Planning
• Logistics and Supply Chain Operations

We are particularly interested in candidates with experience supporting planning, operations or supply chain-related applications, including SAP IBP, SAP APO, SAP PP, SAP MM, SAP SD, SAP EWM, SAP TM or similar enterprise solutions.

✍️Requirements

Must Have

• Experience in Application Support, Application Management or Service Delivery roles.
• Experience working with business-critical enterprise applications.
• Experience managing external vendors and support providers.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Understanding of planning, operations or supply chain business processes.
• Ability to translate business needs into application improvements and support activities.
• Fluent English.

Nice to Have

• Experience supporting planning and operations-related applications.
• Knowledge of SAP IBP, SAP APO, SAP PP, SAP MM, SAP SD, SAP EWM or SAP TM.
• Understanding of S&OP, Demand Planning and Supply Planning processes.
• Experience within FMCG, Manufacturing or Supply Chain-intensive environments.
• Experience working in international and multicultural organizations.
