What are we looking for?

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Product Owner to join our Product Management team. As a Junior Product Owner, you will play a crucial role in assisting the Product Owner and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive the development and delivery of our products. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate individual looking to gain hands-on experience in product management and contribute to the success of our products.

Main skills:

• Roadmap Planning: Fluid communication and negotiation with different stakeholders to prioritize features, enhancements, and improvements in the product backlog, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and customer value.
• Product Discovery: Perform research tasks on both competitors and product users, being able to extract insights on which to elaborate hypotheses and solutions.
• Backlog Management: Create, manage, and refine the product backlog, ensuring that user stories and features are well-refined, prioritized, and ready for development.
• Sprint Planning: Participate in sprint planning meetings, providing input on backlog prioritization, and helping to ensure the team commits to achievable goals for each sprint.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and QA, to ensure successful product development and delivery.
• Testing and Validation: Assist in testing product features and coordinating user acceptance testing (UAT) with stakeholders.
• Feedback Integration: Act as a liaison between stakeholders and the development team, facilitating communication, and ensuring that feedback and insights are incorporated into product improvements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication (English and Spanish) and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) is a plus.
• Basic understanding of product management principles.
• Eagerness to learn and grow in the field of product management
