We are seeking a creative and strategic Social Media & Digital Communications Professional for Ferrovial. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing social media global strategy, managing content creation, and enhancing the company’s online presence and reputation. To do so, this person will collaborate closely with regional teams and other internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in digital communications, audiovisual content production, and campaign planning, with a proactive mindset and excellent communication skills. Experience working in international and multicultural companies will also be valued.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and coordinate engaging multimedia content (text, image, video) tailored to diverse audiences including employees, customers, partners, and stakeholders.
- Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies aligned with business goals and brand positioning.
- Manage and maintain corporate social media accounts (e.g., LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter), ensuring consistent messaging and tone across platforms.
- Collaborate with internal departments (business units, HR, innovation, sustainability, media relations, etc.) as well as with regional teams (mainly the US, UK and Poland) to source content and ensure alignment with overall communication objectives.
- Plan and execute paid advertising campaigns on digital platforms, including budget management and performance optimization.
- Monitor and analyze social media metrics to assess campaign effectiveness and inform strategic adjustments.
- Manage social listening tools to identify trends, sentiment, and opportunities for engagement or reputation management.
- Support digital PR efforts, including outreach and relationship-building with influencers and media partners.
- Assist in the development and promotion of personal branding strategies for company leaders.
- Stay current with the latest industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in digital communications and social media.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in digital communications and social media management, preferably in a corporate or international environment.
- Strong understanding of Social Media, content strategy, and digital advertising.
- Experience in audiovisual content creation and content management tools.
- High proficiency in English (coordination with international teams).
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to drive decisions.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and collaborate across teams.
