At G+D, we are looking for a Global Supplier Quality Engineer within the team based in El Prat de Llobregat, Barcelona.

She/He will be responsible for coordination role inside the G+D EP Global Quality management organization to ensure the delivery of final manufactured product which meets or exceed customer expectations by monitoring external (suppliers) processes while keeping strong link with internal operations, promoting its continuous improvment to achieve it in a sustainable and efficient manner.

Responsabilities

• Be the escalation level towards Head of Global Supplier Quality G+D EP.
• Contribute in the definition of acceptance and rejection baseline criteria and its transcription to technical specifications and defect catalogues when needed.
• Provide global Supplier Quality performance, track of corrective actions and cost recovery data on monthly basis and for Supplier business reviews with Purchasing.
• Fix major issue root causes and prevent reoccurrence.
• Review with Head of Global Supplier Quality on corrective actions from major non-conformances and critical quality events and lessons learned.
• Prepare monthly review with G+D EP manufacturing sites to track and understand non-conformances and critical quality events caused by supplied materials.
• Prepare monthly review with Purchasing to track & implement corrective action from Supplier non-conformances and cost recovery status.
• Sustain and improve supplier developments and improvement measures.
• Initiate Hypercare Phase for new Suppliers and implement extra quality measures.
• Be the backup for the Supplier Quality Engineer for Module materials.

Education and experience

Ingeniería en Materiales, Electrónica, Manufactura o Mecánica.

+3 años de experiencia en entornos de producción e internacionales.

Experiencia en organizaciones de Calidad y metodologías como 8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa, FMEA.

Habilidad analítica, toma de decisiones basada en datos y mentalidad resolutiva.

Capacidad para trabajar con equipos globales y multiculturales.

Inglés fluido y disponibilidad para viajar.

Nice to have:

Experiencia en manufactura de tarjetas inteligentes y sus procesos.

Conocimiento en interacción con Compras, Operaciones, I+D y Gestión de Producto.
