Mission and Purpose
The primary role of the Manager is a commercial one, focused on managing and developing relationships with candidates for the Master in Management (MiM) program. This includes both existing candidates and new prospects. The Manager will also be responsible for promoting the MiM program through travel and organizing promotional events. Strong communication skills, including public speaking and presentations, are essential for building relationships with candidates, alumni.
Main Responsibilities:
The Manager has direct responsibility for meeting targets in the following areas:
- Student applications and enrollment numbers.
- School's presence and image.
- Completion of specific departmental projects assigned by the Area Director.
- Establishment and maintenance of contacts with individuals for promotion.
- Collaborating with the area director to develop a comprehensive plan.
- Defining and executing promotional events, including selecting event types, locations, and target audiences.
- Determining channels for event promotion, such as mailings and advertisements, and monitoring their impact.
- Maintaining an events database for easier planning in subsequent years, including tracking costs, materials sent, and hotel bookings.
- Making effective use of internal and external databases.
- Ensuring the efficiency of admissions processes, including candidate correspondence, info interviews.
- Monitoring progress and managing the area in close collaboration with Area Coordinators.
- Ensuring strict adherence to admission standards.
- Implementing mechanisms to improve candidate yield, such as personalized communications and caring treatment.
- Coordinating and managing media efforts, advertising, prospectuses, applications, and packages in collaboration with relevant departments.
- Exploring and implementing new technologies to improve results.
The ideal candidate for this role possesses the following qualifications and skills:
- Willingness and ability to travel (approximately 20% of work time).
- Experience in organizing promotional events.
- Strong public speaking and presentation skills in English.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to manage and develop communication with candidates throughout the entire admission cycle.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability in developing commercial plans and strategies.
- Familiarity with benchmarking and reviewing trends to influence web design, brochures, and promotional materials.
- Proficiency in CRM technologies.
- A graduate degree is required, preferably a MiM/MBA/EMBA from IESE.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Previous international experience is highly advantageous.
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous client relationship management experience is desired.
- Commercial disposition and strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of database systems, electronic communication, and PowerPoint is essential.
