As a Data Scientist, you will solve challenging logistics and optimization problems to make our customers more successful. What will you be doing?

• Work with the Data Science Manager and wider team to plan, implement, and support data science projects to help our customers work and ship more efficiently
• Communicate the results and methodology effectively within the team and to stakeholders across the business
• Stay on top of innovations and technologies in the world of Data Science, ML, and AI
• Collaborate with people in our Product and Engineering teams to put your work in the hands of customers
• Participate in regular project reviews
• Provide feedback to other members of the team
• Use visualization, reporting and other tools to improve the ways in which our team accesses and interprets datasets.
• Measure and continuously improve the accuracy of predictive models.
• Effectively document and communicate methodologies and results.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Maths, Statistics, or equivalent years of relevant work experience
• Strong interest in Data Science, Machine Learning, and AI

¿Cuáles serán mis responsabilidades en el día a día?

• Diseñar y desarrollar modelos de machine learning en Azure Machine Learning Studio, desde su concepción hasta su puesta en producción, asegurando su escalabilidad y rendimiento.
• Analizar grandes volúmenes de datos, aplicando técnicas estadísticas y de machine learning para resolver problemas de negocio y generar insights accionables.
• Construir consultas SQL avanzadas y procedimientos almacenados para extraer, transformar y preparar datos que alimentarán modelos predictivos y analíticos.
• Trabajar con pipelines de datos que alimenten los modelos analíticos, colaborando con Data Engineers en el desarrollo y optimización de procesos ETL/ELT mediante Azure Data Factory.
• Colaborar con equipos multidisciplinares para traducir necesidades de negocio en soluciones analíticas efectivas y alineadas con los objetivos estratégicos.
• Asegurar la calidad, trazabilidad y seguridad de los datos utilizados en los modelos, manteniendo las mejores prácticas de gobernanza y compliance.
• Participar en el diseño y mantenimiento de dashboards y visualizaciones para comunicar de forma efectiva los resultados y hallazgos de los modelos.

¿Cuáles son los requisitos de acceso a la oferta?

• Formación académica: Grado universitario en Ingeniería Informática, Matemáticas, Estadística, Física o similar. También se valorarán titulaciones de FP Grado Superior (DAM/DAW) con sólida experiencia.
• Experiencia mínima de 4 años en un rol de Data Scientist con participación en proyectos de análisis avanzado de datos, machine learning y ciencia de datos.
• Experiencia práctica con Azure Machine Learning Studio, incluyendo la creación, entrenamiento y despliegue de modelos en entornos productivos.
• Experiencia sólida en SQL y en el manejo de bases de datos relacionales, aplicando procedimientos almacenados y consultas para preparar datos de calidad
• Conocimientos avanzados de Python, aplicado tanto a la manipulación de datos como al desarrollo de modelos predictivos y scripts de automatización.
• Conocimientos de Azure Data Factory para colaborar en el diseño y optimización de pipelines que alimenten los modelos de datos.
• Familiaridad con entornos cloud, especialmente Microsoft Azure, y comprensión de su arquitectura y principales servicios.
• Se valorará experiencia con Scala/Spark y/o PySpark para el procesamiento de grandes volúmenes de datos.

Requisitos imprescindibles:

• Experiencia demostrable como Data Scientist.
• Dominio de técnicas de machine learning y modelado estadístico.
• Capacidad para desarrollar modelos predictivos y algoritmos avanzados.
• Manejo fluido de herramientas como Python, R, Spark, TensorFlow o similares.
• Habilidad para traducir resultados analíticos en recomendaciones accionables.

Requisitos deseables:

• Conocimientos en herramientas de análisis y visualización como SQL, Excel, Power BI, Tableau.
• Familiaridad con herramientas de orquestación y procesamiento de datos como Apache Airflow, Spark, Kafka y Hadoop.
• Experiencia en entornos de big data y arquitectura distribuida.

*What we need from you*
PhD or MSc in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Physics, or a related field.
*Experience*: 10+ years of data science experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role, managing teams in dynamic and collaborative environments.
*Technical Skills:*

* Proven expertise in clustering, predictive modelling, reinforcement learning, and Bayesian statistics.
* Experience in reinforcement learning and Agentic systems would be ideal
* Experience in ML Ops and deploying machine learning models at scale.
* Proficiency in Python or R, and familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Kafka) and/or cloud platforms (e.g., GCP or Azure).
* Industry Knowledge: Experience in gaming or digital entertainment is a strong plus.
* Communication & Influence: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization, from junior analysts to executive leadership.

As part of the Global Centralized Cybersecurity Threat Intel team, the Threat Intel Data Scientist reports to the Processing and Data Science Manager. Data Science lives within the Operations function of the Threat Intelligence group. As a Threat Intel Data Scientist, you will enable the automation of normalizing, processing, and enriching disparate sets of internal and external data sources into our Threat Intelligence Platform (TIP), and other intelligence-focused tools that facilitate research and analysis.

What will your day-to-day be like?

The Threat Intel Data Scientist is responsible for:
- Format intelligence data from various sources into a Threat Intelligence Platform, amongst other intelligence tools, using a single unified data model specialized for in-depth analysis and AI applications.
- Apply threat intelligence expertise to innovate, refine and enhance threat intelligence products.
- Identify and extract key artifacts from intelligence data for threat actor correlation and tracking. Also includes applying data science to identify correlation and clustering of threat activity.
- Identify internal and external sources of cyber threat data to enrich understanding of Deloitte´s internal landscape.
- Utilize machine learning to analyze cyber threat data and provide insights to stakeholders.
- Create comprehensive documentation and SOPs for projects, ensuring clarity for colleagues and management.

How do we imagine you?
- Bachelor´s degree in a technology-related field, or equivalent education-related experience.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in threat intelligence, preferability with a focus on development and data analysis.
- Proficiency in the application of data science techniques, including machine learning and data visualization, to analyze large data sets of cyber threat intelligence data.
- Strong Python programming skills for developing automations and implementing data processing and normalization scripts, including interaction with APIs.
- Demonstrated ability to identify, correlate, and track threat actor activity sets and clusters based on host, network, or behavior-based data.
- Ability to identify and leverage both internal and external data sources to enrich cyber threat data to enable in depth intelligence analysis.
- Experience with generative AI and prompt engineering to enhance and automate threat intelligence products.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills in English for clear, effective collaboration.
