Mechanical Engineer
About the role
At Monocrom, we are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer to join our multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will contribute to the design, development, and optimization of our products, ensuring the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and innovation. You will work in a collaborative environment where your expertise will have a direct impact on operational excellence and product performance.
- Lead and monitor the mechanical design and development of products throughout their lifecycle.
- Propose and implement improvements to increase product reliability, manufacturability, and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including optics, electronics, and manufacturing.
- Prepare and review technical documentation, drawings, and specifications.
- Support prototyping, testing, and validation processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to interpret and generate technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong teamwork and communication abilities.
- Solid experience with CAD software (preferably SolidWorks).
- Excellent knowledge of materials properties and machining processes.
- Familiarity with finite element simulation (FEM) tools is highly valued.
- Previous experience in a similar role will be considered a plus.
- Good command of English (written and spoken).
- Legal authorization to work in the European Union.
- Mechanical Engineering.
- Industrial Engineering Technology with a mechanical specialization.
