A opportunity for a Space Systems Functional Avionics Engineer has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Madrid (Getafe).

Responsibilities

The successful applicant will join the Functional Avionics Engineering Department in Madrid (TSEAF4) that has direct operational link with Airbus functional transnational department.

The selected Avionics engineer will contribute to several functional avionics disciplines (functional validation, software development & database engineering). In the short-term the selected engineer will support functional validation and software management aspects for telecom active antennas. In the medium-term, he/she will also participate in functional validation and software development.

The selected engineer will benefit from working together in close relation with other disciplines as Assembly Integration and Testing , Electrical and System engineering that will widen the satellite system view.

Skills

We are looking for young talents that are enthusiastic about their work and passionate about the issues that the aerospace industry is facing. The candidates should feature the following competences:

• Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in engineering or a related discipline.
• Negotiation level communication skills in English and Spanish is required.
• Experience in Supply Chain Quality or/and in Supply Chain
• Rigorous, autonomous, customer-oriented mind-set and ability to prioritise workload.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including communication, multi-functional team-working, flexibility, proactive behavior.
