This role will be organized in the Expertise Center Short Term and is part of a people development program were we want to steer and support talented profiles in our shift teams.

By taking part in this program and after your training and first mission in your country of residence, you will have the opportunity for a one year mission abroad in another shift team.

Mission / Description of role

Within this 1 year mission, you become part of the Iberian Short Term Optimization team where you play a key role in providing energy management services for our own and 3rd party assets in Spain and Portugal:

• Maximizing value for power assets through 24/7 management of the different physical markets, from day-ahead to near real time and ensure the proper capture of positions with a thorough understanding of the P&L

• Defining and executing the bidding strategy for the different assets under management.

• Designing and implementing models and prototypes, in particular related to the economical and physical optimization of power assets.

• Coordinate and validate the assets production planning and outages in close collaboration with the O&M stakeholders.

Education of professional background

Bachelor or master in relevant studies (Engineering, Economics or Digital)

Professional experience on energy markets and/or digitalization is a plus.

Languages

You are fluent in Spanish and English.

Portuguese or other EU language is a plus.
