Description

As Interior Designer/ Architect Trainee, you will join the Design & Technical team based in the corporate office in Madrid. The candidate will be responsible for supporting the Interior Design team to ensure the successful development and execution of design projects within Radisson Hotel Group.

This key role will assist in creating innovative interior design concepts, developing layouts, and preparing technical drawings, as well as providing support during the design implementation phase. The Trainee will collaborate closely with senior designers, partner departments, and external stakeholders to ensure design projects align with Radisson Hotel Group’s brand standards and operational goals, while contributing to the optimization of the design process.

Main Responsibilities

• Assist in Design Development: Support the design team in developing interior concepts, layouts, and designs for hotel spaces, including guest rooms, public areas, and event spaces.
• Project Support: Collaborate with the team in creating mood boards, color schemes, and material selections to ensure design concepts meet brand standards and client needs.
• Drafting & Rendering: Use architectural tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Hand drawing) to create technical drawings, floor plans, and 3D renderings under the guidance of senior designers.
• Research & Trend Analysis: Stay updated on the latest trends in interior design, materials, and sustainable practices to bring innovative ideas into the design process.
• Document Management: Assist in the preparation and organization of project documentation, including design specifications and suppliers communications.
  
  
  

Requirements

Fluency in English: Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal, are essential for collaboration with the team and clients.

Enrolled in an Interior Design or Architecture Program: Must be currently enrolled in a university or college program related to interior design, architecture.

Eligibility to Sign Internship Agreement: Must be eligible to sign an internship agreement with a recognized school/university as part of the internship requirement.

Proficiency in Architectural Tools: Familiarity with design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) is required.

Desirable expertise in AI and alternative innovative tools for Interior Design.

Eligibility to work in Europe.

Proficiency in Excel and Power Point skills.
