In your role as developer / data engineer, you will get to work first-hand on building and managing the data infrastructure that is at the heart of many of our energy and trading processes. Building on your extensive technical experience and your can-do attitude, you will be directly responsible for shaping and transforming our data landscape. What you will do:
- Develop and operationalize performant, high-available and scalable services to provide accessible and quality data products Axpo internally.
- Define, implement and maintain performant data models as well as robust and scalable storage solutions.
- Establish and implement methods and tooling to improve overall data quality and lineage capabilities.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs, ensuring alignment with business objectives and providing data-driven solutions.
- Collaborate with our internal infrastructure team on cloud solutions, specifically build and maintain IaaS tasks.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications, develop solutions, and ensure their cost-effectiveness and sustainability.

What you bring & who you are:
- You are a competent developer (5-7 years experience) with extensive practical knowledge in one or more widely adopted programming languages (Python, C#, Java or similar).
- You have worked with Cloud infrastructure and services (preferably Azure) and ideally have demonstrated hands-on experience with Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines as well as broader DevOps practices.
- You have a working knowledge of database technologies (preferably PostgreSQL).
- You bring practical experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow, Prefect or similar, ensuring the efficient scheduling and monitoring of data workflows.
- Being a hands-on problem solver, complex problem analysis and solution-design thinking are among your core strengths.
- You bring strong communication skills and can adapt to, manage and influence a variety of business & IT stakeholders.
- You are proficient in English; Spanish is a plus.
- Preferred: deep understanding of the energy and/or trading industry.

Seeking Senior React Engineers: Masters of Adaptability and Innovation!
Your role at Axpo goes beyond typical development. As a Senior React Engineer, you´ll be instrumental in constructing a responsive and adaptive UI, mastering the art of dynamic component generation, real-time communication, and addressing the complexities of an ever-changing digital environment.

What will you do
- Take a leading role in shaping User Interfaces and applications of our Trading and Risk modeling platform (models creation, models execution, models operations, Trading applications) running in the cloud.
- Elegant UI Creation: Bring to life intricate and responsive UIs using advanced design patterns.
- Implement new features and migrate existing models and tools (internal frameworks, Excel interfaces...) to the new framework.
- Expert in RxJs: Manage state with finesse, leveraging the power of RxJs and Context API.
- Adaptive Development: Skilfully adjust to evolving project requirements our Trading and Risk modeling platform (models creation, models execution, models operations, Trading applications) running in the cloud
- Real-Time Communication Pro: Excel in implementing real-time data exchange between the backend and frontend.
- Testing Expertise: Ensure robustness and reliability through comprehensive testing.

What you bring & who you are
- Qualifications: In our team, skills and passion speak louder than anything else: Either a university degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Proven track record on building Trading and Modelling tools in financial environments (Banks, Hedge Funds, Utilities...).
- React Experience (5-8 years): Demonstrable expertise in React development. State management with Context API.
- RxJs Pro: Be very comfortable with Reactive Programming and State Management using Reactive Extensions.
- Cloud DevOps & CI/CD Foundations: Ability to work in an environment with state of the art CI/CD tooling and principles.
- English Proficiency: For seamless collaboration in our global team.
- Excellent communication skills: You will be liaising directly with Business users, Product Owners, Developers and designers.
- Agile Mindset: Embrace the flexibility and value-delivery speed of Agile Methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
- State Management with Redux or Mobx is a plus
- Previous backend experience is a plus as well
- Testing/SDET background (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium...) are advantageous

As a Senior Database Specialist at Axpo Iberia SL, you will be the key resource coordinating various database security projects and enhancing our security posture. Collaborating with CISO, TISO, and application security specialists, you will ensure the integrity and security of our database systems.

What you will do:
- Act as the single point of contact for database security topics within the Database Services Team.
- Improve the security posture of database systems and ensure compliance with security policies.
- Operate, manage, and support on-premise and cloud-based Microsoft SQL Server solutions (Azure).
