Pendular is an AI-powered platform revolutionizing sports media by automating real-time content creation, distribution, and monetization for sports rights holders. Our enterprise clients, including the Australian Open, Premier Padel, Liga F, etc., rely on our technology to generate instant highlights, engage fans, and maximize media value. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a Sports Operations Intern to support our event execution and daily client operations.

As a Sports Operations Intern at Pendular, you will play a key role in assisting with sports content operations. You will work closely with the operation managers, internal teams, and external partners to support workflows, troubleshoot technical challenges, and help ensure high-quality, real-time content delivery. This role offers hands-on experience in sports broadcasting, digital media workflows, and live event operations.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the coverage of live sports event operations, supervising the automated highlights production process.
• Provides logistical and operational support to the Sports Operations team during live events.
• Oversees technical setup, data integration, and workflow coordination.
• Troubleshoots operational challenges and collaborating with technology and product teams.
• Contributes to the development of standard operating procedures and evaluations of the covered matches to improve efficiency.
• Supports onboarding and training sessions for rights holders and broadcast partners.
• Stays updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in sports media operations.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Sports Management, Business, Communications, or a related field.
• Strong interest in sports media, live production, and digital content workflows.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure during live events and adapt to fast-paced environments.
• Highly flexible and responsive, with the ability to monitor and reply to messages or emails at any time, including outside standard working hours, to ensure constant availability.
• Familiarity with sports rights holders, broadcasters, or digital media platforms is a plus.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Fluency in English and Spanish; additional languages are a plus.
• Passionate for and knowledgeable in sports and possesses a deep understanding of fan engagement trends.
