Job Description:
Role Purpose:
- Ensure the installations perform the desired operation(s) according to the existing procedures and policies as well as monitor the installations in order to guarantee the delivery of a (semi-)finished product in accordance with the specifications
- Handle and adjust the installations according to the existing procedures and policies. Serves pumps, open and closes taps, etc
- Fixes alerts
- Analyse and perform multiple quality checks of the respective products in order to meet the requirements of the process
- Identify non-conformities throughout the production process and address other employees to ensure qualitative products
- Control the amount of products produced by an installation
- Carry out auxiliary tasks to the production process, according to the orientations of the procedures and their superiors
- Performs small maintenance activities and assists the maintenance technicians as well as electricians in large maintenance activities
- Works in conjunction with weighbridge operators, bagging operators etc when needed to ensure continuous production
- Put all relevant production data into the required IT system
- Ensure the use of personal protective equipment and take responsibility for its safekeeping and conservation as provided in the safety policy manual
- Lower degree in high school or equivalent by experience
- Prior experience in a similar role
- Technical English – Read and comprehend

Job Description:
Your Impact in this role
The Cluster Director Manager is the leader responsible for the overall performance of the cluster, combining operational excellence with commercial success.
As the owner of the cluster's P&L, the role ensures the implementation and execution of both operational and growth strategies. This position integrates cross-functional leadership to deliver on safety, quality, volume, revenue, and profitability objectives in alignment with Sibelco's vision and corporate policies
In this role your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Strategic Leadership;
Define and execute the cluster's operations and commercial strategies to ensure alignment with regional and global objectives.
Drive the "performance" meetings, integrating operations, sales, and business services to optimize results.
Lead change initiatives such as reorganizations, integrations, performance studies, and M&A activities.
P&L Management;
Own and deliver the cluster’s P&L by ensuring efficient operations and maximizing profitable growth in sales.
Prepare annual budgets in collaboration with operations, sales, and business services.
Monitor and optimize financial performance, including cost control, capex and margin improvement.
Operational Excellence;
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards, as well as adherence to permits and regulatory requirements.
Oversee production, maintenance, and process improvements to ensure operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Promote a continuous improvement culture to optimize processes, reduce waste, and enhance safety and sustainability.
Commercial Excellence;
Lead the development and execution of the cluster’s pricing, sales, and marketing strategies.
Drive customer satisfaction through first-class service and tailored solutions.
Foster growth in "sales by origin" and "sales by destination," ensuring market competitiveness.
People Leadership;
Attract, develop, and retain top talent within operations and commercial teams.
Create an environment of empowerment, diversity, inclusion, and engagement.
Implement robust talent management, succession planning, and employee development programs.
Foster collaboration across teams to achieve shared goals.
Compliance;
Ensure adherence to corporate and regulatory compliance standards.
Identify and mitigate compliance risks proactively.
Manage legacy liabilities in close collaboration with functional specialists.
- Oversee production, maintenance, and process improvements to ensure operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Master's degree in technology, Economics, Marketing, or Business
- Multiple years of leadership experience in operations and/or sales within an international or multifunctional environment.
