Spain Food Sherpas offers food tours and cooking classes in Madrid, Malaga, Granada and Seville. Our tours and cooking classes highlight a number of family-run eateries and the stories of their owners as we stroll through the city center. Our goal is to share Malaga's history and culture through the foods and the people behind it.

We believe food is best enjoyed when put into the context of your local surrounding and we are commited to supporting the local economy, buying and using local and seasonal ingredients.

Since 2014 Spain Food Sherpas has welcomed over 150,000 clients who have left over 4000 positive reviews on TripAdvisor and other review online platforms.

At Spain Food Sherpas we are recruiting.

If you have lived in Madrid for over a year, are passionate about food and speak English + Spanish this could be for you.

Requirements:

You have a medium level of Spanish and are completely fluent in English.

You can command a crowd, are a great storyteller and empathetic with other people’s backgrounds and cultures.

You have lived at least 1 YEAR in the city and are passionate about its culture and gastronomy.

Since our tours run from Monday to Sunday you must be flexible in working hours, especially weekends when there's a higher demand.

This is a part-time job so you need to be freelance (autonomo in Spanish) to issue us invoices for the tours.

Tour experience is not required, however knowledge of food, city's history will be considered.

What we offer:

Our tours and cooking classes range from 3.5 to 4 hours and are offered daily from Monday to Sunday (including day and evening hours)
