Junior Lean Manufacturing Engineer

About the Position – We are looking to hire a junior engineer to join our Operational Excellence Department at our Pedrola plant. The selected candidate will play a key role in promoting, facilitating, and consolidating a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organisation by implementing Lean tools and principles at all levels. The goal is to optimise processes, eliminate waste, and generate sustainable value for both our customers and the company.
The responsibilities of the position include:
- Drives the creation of Lean culture in the organization, defining and supporting the improvement teams and leading team governance.
- Analyzes current status, detecting continuous improvement and operational opportunities.
- Creates, maintains, and deploys the improvement project plan and drives corrective actions when necessary.
- Promotes, coaches and leads by example the site's Lean transformation.
- Responsible for the achievement of the site's Improvement Projects Saving target.
- Reports to the upstream organization on the KPI's and implementation progress.
Experience and Education
- Academic Background: Engineering degree. A Lean manufacturing-trained individual will be highly valued.
- Experience: at least 2 years in similar responsibilities within an operational excellence or lean manufacturing area
