The intern supports the ESG & Sustainability Team of Allianz Technology in the area of charitable contributions, communications, CSRD reporting and sustainability in IT. We offer the opportunity to contribute to Allianz Technology's sustainability agenda while gaining valuable hands-on experience in operations, communication and environmental reporting.
What You Do
- Support internal sustainability initiatives and projects in the area of own operations.
- Collect, analyze, and report environmental data for CSRD reporting.
- Prepare documentation for audits, such as process descriptions or controls checklists.
- Support projects in automation of data management and sustainable practices in IT software and hardware.
- Conduct research and prepare presentations .
- Support the charitable contributions process with research and project management.
- Communicate sustainability initiatives internally and engage with Sustainability Community and take over administrative tasks.
- Passion for sustainability and a strong interest in environmental and social issues, along with a commitment to making a positive impact.
- A natural affinity in working with data and technology, proficiency in IT is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate ideas, both verbally and in writing, to various stakeholders and willingness to work collaboratively with colleagues across departments.
- A proactive approach to work, coupled with a learning mindset.
- English proficiency, both written and verbal, Spanish or German is a plus.
- First job experience in the field of sustainability/ESG from internships or working students activities.
- Studies in business administration, environmental science, economics or similar or IT-focused studies, such as data science or similar.
- Basic knowledge of AI technologies, principles and their practical use.
