About the role

We are looking for a Lead Video with a strong post-production background, capable of combining hands-on execution with a creative flair and technical leadership. This person will be responsible for setting the direction, quality, and consistency of all video and motion outputs, leading a team of junior, mid, and senior editors and motion designers.

The ideal candidate comes from a creative agency environment, is highly conceptual and visually driven, and stays ahead of social trends and AI innovation. They have a natural sense of visual storytelling, can contribute to the ideation phase, and are still a doer who enjoys editing and creating when needed.



Responsibilities

Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of video editors and motion designers.
- Provide constructive feedback and maintain technical and creative excellence.
- Oversee daily workloads and ensure all deadlines are met.

Creative Direction
- Actively participate in campaign ideation and concept development.
- Define and maintain the overall motion and visual language across projects.
- Collaborate with Creative Directors, Art Directors, and Copywriters to elevate ideas.
- Integrate AI-driven tools and workflows to enhance creativity and efficiency.

Execution & Production:
- Edit and produce high-quality videos when required, still a hands-on creator.
- Oversee the full post-production process: editing, color grading, sound, and delivery.
- Create social-first and vertical video content for TikTok, Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
- Ensure brand consistency and quality across all platforms and formats.

Project Management
- Manage timelines, priorities, and resources across multiple projects.
- Coordinate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
- Balance speed and agility with attention to quality and detail.


Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in post-production, video editing, or motion design, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in a creative agency or similar fast-paced environment.
- Expert knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
- Familiarity with AI tools for video creation and post-production (Runway, Pika, Sora, etc.).
- Strong sense of visual narrative, rhythm, and storytelling.
- Deep understanding of social media formats, platforms, and trends.
- Ability to provide clear, actionable feedback and mentor team members.
- Organized, proactive, and passionate about creative innovation.
