The focus is on developing an optical system for label-free imaging and multi/hyperspectral detection, particularly for studying human embryos and oocytes.

The role involves designing and developing a customized optical system based on commercial components to non-invasively detect auto-fluorescence and extract biological information.

Main Tasks and ResponsibilitiesSupport the development of label-free microscopy and multi/hyperspectral systems for discriminating competent live embryos and oocytes.Assist in designing and integrating optoelectronic setups for live sample imaging.Apply image analysis methods to extract meaningful biological data.Initiate new experiments to obtain statistically significant results.Establish collaborations with industry and clinical partners through real-world use cases.Essential RequirementsDegree in Physics or related fields with a strong background in optics.Experience in microscopy and spectroscopy.Skills in communication, teamwork, commitment, proactivity, integrity, and critical thinking.Proficiency in English.Advantageous SkillsProgramming skills in Matlab, Python, and LabVIEW for data analysis and system customization.Offer DetailsNumber of positions: 1Start date: January 2025Full-time, open-ended contract linked to project duration.Flexible working conditions and support for work-life balance.Application ProcessApply online by January 23 via IBEC's career site.
