At Lineage, helping to feed the world is more than a job – it’s a purpose we live every day. Lineage is the world’s largest and most innovative provider of temperature-controlled logistics solutions.


We are currently recruiting for a Human Resources Business Partner based in Spain. The ideal candidate will be available to work onsite at our Madrid office 2–3 times per week, with the flexibility to travel to our Murcia site 2–3 times per month and to Milagro once per quarter.


In this role you will lead and direct the routine functions of the Human Resources (HR) department including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices. You will also support the sites leadership team on a broad range of HR topics; and help bring global HR strategies to the different sites of +120 employees in Spain, to ultimately support us to deliver a positive working environment for all team members.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital
  • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organisation
  • Nurture a positive working environment
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
  • Maintain pay plan and benefits program
  • Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs
  • Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management


What we are looking for:

  • Proven working experience as HR Business Partner
  • Proven working experience negotiating with Works Councils
  • Experience in industrial sites, logistics and/or road transportation is a plus
  • People oriented and results driven
  • Demonstrable experience with Human Resources metrics
  • Knowledge of HR systems and databases
  • Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills
  • Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
  • In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices
  • Degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Fluent in Spanish and English
