Role Description

This is a contract/freelance on-site role for a Video Editor located in Barcelona. The Video Editor will be responsible for editing and assembling recorded raw material into a suitable, finished product ready for timtok, youtube and reels.

This involves coordination with the production team, ensuring high-quality content is produced, color correction, sound mixing, and adhering to project timelines. The role also entails creating motion graphics and special effects when required.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and DaVinci Resolve.
• Experience in color correction, sound mixing, and video compression techniques.
• Graphic design skills with tools like Adobe After Effects and Adobe Photoshop.
• Strong storytelling abilities and understanding of pacing, timing, and narrative flow.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with the production team.
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Film, Media, Communications, or related field preferred.
• Prior experience in a similar role within an agency or media company is a plus.
