Role Purpose
Support the Business Development function by developing and analysing financial models for infrastructure and investment opportunities.
Provide tailored financial support for new business initiatives across different regions.
Contribute to commercial and strategic decision-making in a dynamic, international environment.
Designed for an early-career finance professional with strong analytical capabilities, commercial awareness and the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, develop, maintain and update financial models for infrastructure and investment projects.
Analyse different business and contractual structures (concessions, greenfield and brownfield projects, PPPs, joint ventures, long-term service agreements, etc.).
Perform scenario analysis, sensitivity testing and financial evaluations to support commercial and strategic decisions.
Support the preparation of investment cases and internal approval materials with clear assumptions and structured analysis.
Provide direct financial support to Business Development teams across regions, adapting analyses to specific opportunities and market conditions.
Act as a financial reference point during opportunity screening, bid preparation and negotiation phases.
Ensure financial assumptions are aligned with commercial strategies and market realities.
Support the financial components of proposals and tender processes (RFIs, RFQs, RFPs).
Assist in defining pricing structures, expected returns and key financial KPIs.
Ensure consistency between commercial narratives, financial models and contractual terms.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, Engineering, Operations and other internal teams to ensure models accurately reflect technical, operational and contractual inputs.
Support the preparation of documentation for internal governance processes, management reviews and investment committees.
Economic Impact
Type of impact: Indirect - influences and enables financial outcomes managed by other functions.
Economic autonomy: Low - executes financial analysis and recommendations within frameworks defined by senior stakeholders.
¿A quién buscamos (H/M/D)?
- Degree in Business Administration or Economics
- 3-4 years in financial modelling, corporate finance, consulting, infrastructure finance or similar roles.
- Strong financial modelling skills (Excel‑based).
- Solid understanding of project finance concepts, cash flow analysis, IRR, NPV and sensitivity analysis.
- Ability to translate commercial and contractual terms into financial logic.
- Comfortable working with evolving assumptions and incomplete information.Advanced financial modelling (Excel).
- Very high English level is a must.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Highly structured, rigorous and detail‑oriented.
- Commercial mindset and curiosity about how business models work.
- Ability to support multiple regions and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Proactive, reliable and eager to learn.
