Buscamos Tester Senior con experiencia en Java para unirse a un proyecto orientado al desarrollo de servicios backend y APIs de alto rendimiento. La persona seleccionada será responsable del diseño, implementación y mantenimiento de soluciones de automatización de pruebas, trabajando en un entorno ágil y colaborativo, con fuerte integración entre desarrollo y QA.

Responsabilidades

• Diseñar, desarrollar e implementar soluciones de automatización de pruebas en Java o JavaScript/NodeJS.
• Escribir y mantener código de pruebas automatizadas para validar sistemas y servicios backend.
• Ejecutar pruebas en entornos RESTful API y garantizar la calidad de las integraciones.
• Detectar, documentar y comunicar defectos, colaborando con los equipos de desarrollo en su resolución.
• Impulsar buenas prácticas de unit testing, integration testing y system testing.
• Participar activamente en equipos Scrum, aportando valor a la entrega continua.
• Promover métricas de calidad, cobertura de código y estrategias de prevención de errores.
  
  

Requisitos

• Ser residente de España
• Grado en Ingeniería Informática o experiencia equivalente en QA.
• 3+ años de experiencia en testing de software, incluyendo al menos 1 año en automatización.
• Experiencia de 2+ años en pruebas automatizadas con Java o JavaScript/NodeJS.
• Manejo de frameworks como Selenium, Protractor, Cucumber (JS/JVM) o Cypress.
• Experiencia en entornos RESTful API.
• Familiaridad con AWS, CI/CD y despliegues en la nube.
• Conocimiento de servicios AWS: Lambda, Kinesis, DynamoDB, API Gateway, PostgreSQL.
• Nivel de inglés alto (trabajo con equipos internacionales).

As an eDOer, you will have clear objectives, great challenges and a clear overview of how your work contributes to the global company project and its customers. As a Frontend Senior Software Engineer in the Prime Team you will be in charge of:

• Work with a top-notch tech stack such as ES6 code, Javascript libraries like ReactJS and Lodash, Graphql, Testing frameworks and libraries like Mocha, Chai, sinon.js and Jest, React Testing library (Selenium + Cucumber + Nodejs), Style Sheet preprocessors like SASS, CSS-in-JS and styled-components, Packages and task runners like webpack, babel, grunt, npm;
• Work with a distributed, scalable micro-services environment, where software gets deployed daily, with high quality, clean code, SOLID principles and TDD;
• Be part of a high performing cross functional team of 7-10 developers, POs, UXers, QAs, data scientists etc, all sharing the same values and focus on the customer;
• Develop powerful and advanced algorithms that are at the forefront of innovation in travel tech;
• Leverage your technical excellence mindset to code solutions with the highest quality through good design, attention to detail and test quality, as well as challenge decisions to help all teams improve technical excellence;
• Actively participate in the product definition and ideation processes;
• Work in a fully agile organisation, using Kanban practices to deliver business value continuously;

Main tasks:
- Work as part of a SRE cross-functional group of engineers in applying Site Reliability Engineering principles to in-house developed front-end applications.
- Have a clear oversight on how managed systems relate to each other, with autonomy to continuously iterate improvements to achieve highly available, fault tolerant applications.
- Identify, troubleshoot and pre-empt operational issues being able to understand and modify code.
- Preserve the platform health and implement tech compliance
- Drive engineering best practice (e.g, Operational Excellence, Security, Quality, Resilience etc.) and set standards across the team.
- Estimate, scope and plan your work within an agile environment.
- Willingness to be part of a 24/7 on-call rota (paid additionally)

Requirements:
- +4 years (Junior) or +10 years (Senior) of experience as Developer in Operations
- Production-grade experience of developing and managing API´s using Java & Springboot. Excellent understanding of SOLID principles, SOA, HTTP and REST.
- Good knowledge of Gradle.
- Production experience running microservices on container orchestration architectures.
- Passionate about API testing utilising tools similar to Wiremock, Pact, Postman and Cucumber.
- Good understanding of API authentication and authorisation mechanisms like OAuth.
- Understand the concept of distributed tracing and have some experience working with logging tools
- Basic knowledge of infrastructure as code and CI/CD pipeline management via Jenkins.
- Strong experience in back-end architectural and design patterns.
- Good knowledge of distributed systems at backend with a proven track record in Performance, Scalability, and Resiliency.
- Advanced English level (B2-C1)

Desirable experience
- Experience with Agile methodologies
- Development experience within AWS
- NodeJS experience
- Good knowledge of Maven
- Knowledge using monitoring & logging tools like NewRelic or Logzio to troubleshoot problems in a distributed network of systems.
- Experience with monitoring, ing and notifications (NewRelic, Grafana, AppDynamics, Datadog, Logz.io, ...) with demonstrable observability implementations.
- Experience with process automation
- Working knowledge with support platform tools (ServiceNow, PagerDuty...)
