SPAIN FOR GROUPS DMC is a premier provider of Destination Management Company (DMC) and Incoming Services in Spain. Specializing in MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) and private tailor-made holiday packages, we serve groups and upscale FITs clients. While based in Madrid, we operate across the Iberian Peninsula, including the Balearic and Canary Islands. Our multilingual team of experienced project managers designs bespoke itineraries, offering unique experiences and creative solutions to deliver memorable and successful programs.
This is a full-time on-site role for a Groups Department Senior Project Manager, based in Madrid. The Senior Project Manager will manage end-to-end planning and execution of group travel projects, develop customized itineraries, and coordinate with vendors and clients. Key responsibilities include overseeing budgets, timelines, and operational logistics, ensuring successful program delivery. The role also requires fostering strong client relationships, identifying unique solutions, and maintaining high-quality service standards.
- Project management skills, including organization, time management, and multitasking.
- Experience in travel planning, group coordination, and managing MICE or private holiday packages.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to deliver superior client service.
- Creativity and problem-solving abilities to design unique and memorable itineraries.
- Fluency in English and Spanish is required; additional languages are a plus.
- Proficiency in using relevant software tools such as Microsoft Office and reservation systems.
- Strong knowledge of destinations within Spain, including cultural, historical, and logistical aspects.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
