💪Tu misión

Diseñar, desarrollar, desplegar y mantener soluciones de Inteligencia Artificial de vanguardia, con especial foco en IA Generativa y Large Language Models (LLMs), que aporten valor directo al negocio. Liderarás el ciclo completo de vida de los modelos de IA, desde la investigación y prototipado hasta su integración robusta y escalable dentro del ecosistema tecnológico de la empresa, asegurando su alineación con los objetivos estratégicos.

¿Qué harás?

1. Estrategia y Diseño de Soluciones de IA Generativa:

• Liderar la investigación y el desarrollo de prototipos basados en modelos y servicios SOTA (State-of-the-Art) en IA Generativa, agentes de IA, Fine Tuning y Reinforcement Learning (RL).
• Traducir problemas de negocio complejos (ej. detección de fraude, scoring de crédito, asistentes conversacionales, análisis de sentimiento) en soluciones técnicas accionables que utilicen LLMs y otras técnicas de IA.
• Evaluar la viabilidad y el ROI de nuevas iniciativas de IA Generativa, diseñando arquitecturas de solución.

2. Desarrollo y Ciclo de Vida de Modelos (AI/LLMOps):

• Liderar el proceso completo de desarrollo de modelos: desde la comprensión del problema y la preparación de datos hasta la medición del impacto y la puesta en producción.
• Aplicar técnicas avanzadas de fine-tuning, continual pre-training y Reinforcement Learning (RLHF) para adaptar y optimizar LLMs para tareas específicas del dominio financiero.
• Diseñar, implementar y optimizar prompts (Prompt Engineering) para maximizar la eficacia, precisión y seguridad de las interacciones con los modelos.
• Desarrollar y mantener agentes de IA (utilizando frameworks como LangChain, LlamaIndex, etc.) capaces de realizar tareas complejas y autónomas.

3. Integración, Despliegue y Operatividad Cloud:

• Construir, desplegar y mantener pipelines de entrenamiento, reentrenamiento y evaluación continua (CI/CD/CT) para modelos de ML y LLMs, asegurando su robustez y escalabilidad.
• Poner en producción modelos y servicios de IA, desarrollando APIs y asegurando su integración efectiva en el ecosistema.
• Gestionar la operatividad en entornos cloud (AWS), optimizando el uso de recursos para el entrenamiento y la inferencia de modelos a gran escala (ej. uso de GPUs/TPUs, instancias spot, etc.).
• Implementar y gestionar la contenerización (Docker, Kubernetes) de las soluciones de IA.

4. Monitorización, Colaboración y Soporte al Negocio:

• Monitorizar continuamente el rendimiento, la precisión y la deriva (drift) de los modelos en producción, implementando dashboards y sistemas de alerta.
• Colaborar estrechamente con stakeholders (Product Managers, Data Engineers, Software Engineers) para asegurar la alineación e integración de las soluciones.
• Generar documentación técnica rigurosa sobre los procesos, modelos y servicios desarrollados.
• Proveer insights y análisis ad-hoc para informar decisiones estratégicas, comunicando hallazgos complejos de forma clara y simple.

💫Sobre ti

Formación Académica:

• Titulación en áreas STEM con clara vocación en los datos y la IA. Es aceptable venir de otras áreas educativas siempre que se demuestre experiencia significativa.
• Se valorará positivamente Máster o Doctorado en Inteligencia Artificial, Deep Learning o campos relacionados.

Experiencia Profesional:

• Al menos 4 años de experiencia laboral en data science, analítica avanzada o machine learning.
• Experiencia demostrable en el diseño, entrenamiento y despliegue de modelos de Deep Learning (PyTorch, TensorFlow).
• Experiencia práctica indispensable en proyectos con Large Language Models (LLMs), desde la conceptualización hasta la puesta en producción.

What You Will Do

We are looking for a Engineering Manager (Web Platform) to lead a team of engineers with a strong focus on modern web development stacks to help build and maintain the backend for our Game LiveOps platform. In this role, you’ll work closely with product teams, designers, and other disciplines to deliver high-performance tools and features that support real-time operations and engaging gameplay experiences.

• Leadership: Lead a high performing team of fullstack engineers by proposing and implementing improvements to the development processes, workflows and tools, to increase efficiency, quality and throughput.
• Collaboration: Work with Production and Product Owners to own the development cycle and identify the engineering tasks and processes needed to complete the roadmap. Maintain positive working relationships with technology teams within Scopely to improve the use of shared technologies.

What We Are Looking For

• Experience: professional experience as senior software engineer, with a strong foundation in programming and web development and with relevant experience in a team leadership role
• Leadership: track record of working in complex products (games is a bonus), leading initiatives from 0 to 1 with high degree of collaboration and quality with cross functional teams and multiple teams working on the same product and the same roadmap
• Backend Proficiency: hands-on experience in modern backend languages (Python strongly preferred; Go or C# also a plus).
• Web Technologies: Solid experience in the development of RESTful services and modern web frameworks (Vue.js or Angular preferred). Experience with JavaScript (ES6), TypeScript, and CSS preprocessors (e.g., SCSS) is essential

Job Description

The Technical Expert - Data & AI is responsible for providing technical leadership, advanced expertise, and deep knowledge in data and artificial intelligence to design, build, optimize, and support data and AI platforms, pipelines, and architectures. The role acts as a technical reference within the CIO organization, ensuring that data and AI initiatives are robust, scalable, secure, and aligned with business strategy and the group´s data governance framework.

Key Responsibilities

Platform leadership, build, and maintenance:
Define standards, best practices, and frameworks for the construction, deployment, and maintenance of data and AI infrastructures (on-premises, cloud, or hybrid).

ML/AI model implementation and operations:
Participate in the implementation and deployment of machine learning, deep learning, and AI models, ensuring integrity, performance, monitoring, and ongoing maintenance.

Technical validation and tool evaluation:
Evaluate new technologies, tools, and platforms (open source, commercial, cloud) to optimize the data/AI ecosystem; lead proof-of-concepts (PoCs) and benchmarking activities.

Architecture definition and solution design support:
Support the design of data and AI technical solutions - including data pipelines, data lakes/warehouses, streaming, MLOps, and analytics platforms - to meet strategic objectives.

Integration and deployment:
Coordinate the integration of data and AI solutions with other corporate systems, ensuring compatibility, security, and efficiency.

Governance, security, and compliance:
Ensure solutions comply with data governance, security, privacy, and regulatory standards (e.g., data regulations, internal policies).

Technical support and mentoring:
Act as a technical point of reference by resolving questions from architects, data engineers, and data scientists; guiding and reviewing technical designs; and promoting best practices and standards.

Cross-functional collaboration:
Work closely with business, analytics, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and compliance teams to ensure alignment between business needs, regulations, and technical capabilities.

Documentation and technical communication:
Document architectures, processes, and technical decisions; communicate risks, technical decisions, and project status to the CIO and relevant stakeholders.

Continuous innovation:
Stay current with emerging trends in AI, big data, MLOps, automation, cost optimization, and performance. Promote piloting of new technologies when appropriate.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience in advanced technical roles related to data, big data, cloud, AI, ML, or data engineering.
- At least 3 years of experience designing and architecting data/AI solutions in complex environments (large-scale data, security/regulatory constraints, corporate environments).
- Hands-on experience implementing data pipelines, data lakes/warehouses, ingestion processes, transformation, and batch and/or streaming processing.
- Experience deploying ML/AI models into production using MLOps best practices, including monitoring and maintenance.

Strong Technical Knowledge

Programming languages:

Python, SQL. Preferred: Scala, Java, R.

Platforms / Big Data / Cloud:
Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) or hybrid/on-prem environments. Knowledge of tools such as Spark, Databricks, Hadoop, Kafka, Airflow, Trino, etc.

Databases and modeling:
Relational and dimensional modeling; NoSQL databases (document, key-value, columnar); data lakes and data warehouses.

Machine Learning / AI / MLOps:
ML/AI frameworks, training and inference pipelines, orchestration, containers (Docker, Kubernetes), deployment, monitoring, and model versioning.

Infrastructure & automation:
Infrastructure as Code (IaC), containers, orchestration, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools.

Security and compliance:
Knowledge of data governance regulations, data protection, encryption, access control, and security best practices.
