Project Engineer — FBA Gomyl

📍 Vilassar de Mar, Barcelona | Full-time, On-site

FBA Gomyl is a dynamic engineering, manufacturing and consultancy group composed of experienced specialists from the building maintenance service industry.

Our services are based on a comprehensive selection of audit processes related to the engineering, manufacturing, management, use and maintenance of permanently installed Building Maintenance Units (BMUs) and associated mobile or temporary access equipment.

Role Description:

We are looking for a Project Engineer to join our team in Vilassar de Mar.

This is a full-time, on-site position where you will be responsible for managing engineering projects, ensuring technical compliance, coordinating with internal teams and clients, and supporting all stages of project planning, design and execution. You will also maintain a direct relationship with final clients, ensuring that solutions meet their technical and operational requirements.

Main Responsibilities:

• Create and design mechanical components and systems using AutoCAD
• Develop detailed technical drawings and layouts that accurately reflect product specifications and client requirements
• Select and specify appropriate materials for components and systems according to project needs
• Maintain and update technical documentation throughout the project lifecycle
• Ensure that project milestones and deadlines are met
• Collaborate with other departments to guarantee smooth project execution
• Maintain regular communication with international clients

Requirements:

• Degree in Industrial, Mechanical or Product Development Engineering, or related field
• High level of English (spoken and written) — daily contact with international clients
• Residence in Maresme or Vallès Oriental area (candidates living outside the Barcelona area will not be considered)
• Experience with AutoCAD
• Strong communication, organization and problem-solving skills
• Team player with initiative, autonomy and a proactive attitude

Valued Skills:

• Experience with SolidWorks
• Knowledge of electronics and ability to understand electrical schematics
• Experience in industrial manufacturing processes or industrialized production environments
• Previous experience as a Project Engineer in industrial environments, especially in electrically driven systems or machinery
• Technical experience in assembly, commissioning, maintenance or servicing of industrial machinery
• Knowledge of French or another language

Descripción del puesto:

Estamos buscando una/un Ingeniera/o de Proyectos para unirse a nuestro equipo en Vilassar de Mar.

Se trata de un puesto presencial a tiempo completo en el que serás responsable de la gestión de proyectos de ingeniería, garantizando el cumplimiento técnico, coordinando con los equipos internos y los clientes, y prestando apoyo en todas las etapas de planificación, diseño y ejecución de los proyectos. También mantendrás una relación directa con los clientes finales, asegurando que las soluciones cumplan con sus requisitos técnicos y operativos.

Responsabilidades principales:

• Crear y diseñar componentes y sistemas mecánicos utilizando AutoCAD
• Desarrollar planos técnicos detallados y diseños que reflejen con precisión las especificaciones del producto y los requisitos del cliente
• Seleccionar y especificar materiales apropiados para los componentes y sistemas según las necesidades del proyecto
• Mantener y actualizar la documentación técnica a lo largo del ciclo de vida del proyecto
• Asegurar que se cumplan los hitos y plazos del proyecto
• Colaborar con otros departamentos para garantizar una ejecución fluida del proyecto
• Mantener una comunicación regular con clientes internacionales

Requisitos:

• Título en Ingeniería Industrial, Mecánica o de Desarrollo de Producto, o campo relacionado
• Alto nivel de inglés (hablado y escrito) — contacto diario con clientes internacionales
• Residencia en la zona del Maresme o Vallès Oriental (no se considerarán candidatos que residan fuera del área de Barcelona)
• Experiencia con AutoCAD
• Fuertes habilidades de comunicación, organización y resolución de problemas
• Capacidad para trabajar en equipo, con iniciativa, autonomía y actitud proactiva

Habilidades valoradas:

• Experiencia con SolidWorks.
• Experienciatécnica en ensamblaje, puesta en marcha, mantenimiento o reparación de maquinaria industrial.
• Conocimientos de electrónica y capacidad para interpretar esquemas eléctricos.
• Experiencia en procesos de fabricación industrial o en entornos de producción industrializada.
• Experiencia previa como Project Engineer en entornos industriales, especialmente en sistemas o maquinaria con accionamientos eléctricos.
