Ingeniero/a Mecánico/a Senior

En MOBLANC Robotics diseñamos y desarrollamos productos robóticos y maquinaria especial, desde la ingeniería inicial hasta la fabricación, montaje, integración y puesta en funcionamiento.

Estamos ampliando nuestro equipo en Binéfar (Huesca) y buscamos incorporar a un/a Ingeniero/a Mecánico/a Senior que pueda asumir un papel de referencia técnica dentro del área de robótica.

Buscamos una persona con experiencia real desarrollando maquinaria, con criterio técnico, autonomía y capacidad para resolver problemas.

Este no es un puesto únicamente de CAD ni una posición de supervisión. La persona que se incorpore participará directamente en los diseños y tendrá responsabilidad sobre que esos diseños terminen convirtiéndose en máquinas fiables, fabricables y funcionando.

¿Qué harás?

• Diseñar directamente mecanismos, piezas, conjuntos y sistemas mecánicos para nuestros productos robóticos.
• Desarrollar soluciones desde el concepto inicial hasta fabricación, montaje y validación.
• Elaborar planos, despieces, listas de materiales y documentación técnica.
• Seleccionar materiales, componentes comerciales y procesos de fabricación.
• Trabajar directamente con talleres y proveedores para resolver problemas técnicos de fabricación.
• Participar en montaje, pruebas, integración y resolución de incidencias.
• Modificar y mejorar diseños a partir de los problemas encontrados durante fabricación y montaje.
• Buscar soluciones que mejoren fiabilidad, coste, facilidad de fabricación y mantenimiento.
• Colaborar directamente con electrónica, software, fabricación y automatización.
• Ayudar a definir progresivamente criterios y buenas prácticas de diseño dentro del área de robótica.
  

¿Qué perfil buscamos?

Formación en Ingeniería Mecánica, Industrial, Mecatrónica o similar.

Buscamos especialmente una persona que tenga:

• Experiencia profesional sólida en diseño mecánico y desarrollo de maquinaria o equipos industriales.
• Preferiblemente 5 años o más de experiencia, aunque valoraremos perfiles con menor experiencia si pueden demostrar un nivel alto de autonomía y responsabilidad técnica.
• Experiencia real llevando diseños desde concepto hasta fabricación y montaje.
• Capacidad para trabajar de forma autónoma y tomar decisiones técnicas sin necesitar supervisión continua.
• Buenos conocimientos de procesos de fabricación, tolerancias, materiales y componentes mecánicos.
• Experiencia trabajando directamente con talleres, proveedores y equipos de montaje.
• Capacidad para analizar un problema, plantear alternativas y llevarlo hasta su resolución.
• Capacidad para priorizar y avanzar incluso cuando no toda la información es perfecta.
• Orden y rigor con planos, versiones y documentación técnica.
• Capacidad para gestionar diferentes tareas y problemas en paralelo.

No es una posición de entrada o formación inicial. Buscamos una persona que pueda incorporarse, entender progresivamente nuestros productos y empezar a asumir responsabilidad técnica real.

Nos interesa especialmente saber qué máquinas, productos o mecanismos has desarrollado, qué problemas has encontrado durante su fabricación y qué decisiones has tomado para resolverlos.

Herramientas

Trabajamos principalmente con PTC Creo para diseño mecánico y Odoo para la gestión de fabricación, compras y producto. No es necesario conocer previamente estas herramientas.

Valoramos mucho más una buena base de ingeniería, experiencia real y capacidad para aprender y resolver problemas.

• Developing global value propositions, commercial packages and go-to-market approaches for AMR Connected Care offerings.

Qualifications For The Role

• Knowledge in Engineering, Business Administration, Digital Business, Industrial Management or related discipline.
• Experience in business development, portfolio commercialization, sales enablement, digital services or technology-based service sales is a plus.
• Ability to transform technical or software capabilities into customer-value propositions, commercial tools and executive-ready materials.
• Understanding of recurring-revenue, subscription, SaaS or digitally enabled service models.

Qué harás

• Evaluar y tratar a pacientes neurológicos adultos y pediátricos en programas de rehabilitación intensiva.

The role

Based in Barcelona, this role sits at the heart of Helsing's robotics engineering function, responsible for driving the mechanical architecture, design, and development of next-generation robotic systems. The day-to-day

• Lead the detailed design and integration of complex robotic subsystems, including high-precision actuators, structural chassis, and dynamic motion systems, translating high-level concepts into robust 3D assemblies and comprehensive engineering drawing packages.
• Drive cross-functional integration with electrical and software teams to ensure seamless packaging, cable routing, and thermal and sensor integration, resolving technical challenges across the full development cycle.
• Define material selection strategies and fabrication methods, conducting FEA, stress analysis, and tolerance stack-up analysis to ensure designs meet rigorous functional, cost, yield, and lead-time requirements.
• Establish and advocate for mechanical engineering best practices, including modelling standards, GD&T drawing controls, and technical documentation, raising quality across the team.
• Critically evaluate system architectures in design reviews, identifying risks and delivering high-impact solutions that optimise performance and manufacturability from prototype through to production ramp-up.

Your role

We are looking for an Industrial Design Engineer to design the enclosures, housings and structural parts that contain, protect and present our robotic technology in the field. Every sensor, control unit and end effector we deploy needs a physical form that holds up in a warehouse, protects the electronics inside, and looks like it belongs at a company building the future of robotics.

You will join a hardware team that moves from concept to deployed product on a fast cycle. Some projects start as a blank sheet: a new enclosure for a control unit, a housing for a sensor array, a bracket system for an end effector. Others are already in motion, and you'll need to pick up an existing design, understand its constraints, and take it to production without breaking what already works.

Day to day, you will work closely with electronics, controls and mechanical engineers to understand what each product needs to survive and perform in the field. You'll design in CAD, choose materials and manufacturing processes with production volume and cost in mind, and take parts from first sketch through prototyping to a design ready for industrial-scale manufacturing, whether that means injection molding, sheet metal, machining or another process entirely.

What We're Looking For

• Degree in Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience designing physical products or enclosures for electronic or industrial systems, from concept through to manufactured part.
• Strong command of CAD for mechanical design (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Creo or equivalent).
• Familiarity with 3D design and modeling software more broadly.
• Working knowledge of industrial manufacturing methods for both plastics and metals, including their design constraints and cost implications.
• Ability to size and adapt designs to functional requirements: protection, thermal behavior, ergonomics, assembly, and appearance.

Main Responsibilities

Nos gustaría incorporar a una persona investigadora para unirse a nuestra Unidad de Sistemas Autónomos Inteligentes. Su misión es contribuir al desarrollo de soluciones avanzadas de robótica y automatización, participando en proyectos de investigación aplicada e innovación tecnológica orientados a operaciones de manipulación robotizada, desde la generación de conocimiento hasta su validación y transferencia al tejido industrial, colaborando con clientes, empresas y entidades de I+D nacionales e internacionales.

Buscamos una persona con titulación de Ingeniería Superior o Máster, obtenida en los últimos cinco años, que disponga de conocimientos previos en programación robótica aplicada a operaciones de manipulación. Esta experiencia podrá haberse adquirido durante la realización de una tesis, proyecto fin de grado o máster, o bien mediante una primera experiencia profesional.

Valoramos especialmente la capacidad para trabajar en equipo, la orientación a la colaboración técnica con clientes y entidades colaboradoras, así como la iniciativa para aportar nuevas ideas y la autonomía para desarrollar su trabajo y asumir responsabilidades de forma progresiva.

Responsabilidades principales del puesto:

• Investigación y desarrollo de tecnologías de robótica avanzada y sistemas autónomos.
• Diseño e implementación de estrategias de manipulación robótica.
• Programación de aplicaciones para robots industriales.
• Desarrollo de software y algoritmos de control, planificación y percepción.
• Integración y validación de sistemas robóticos en entornos de laboratorio e industriales.
• Ejecución técnica de proyectos de I+D nacionales e internacionales.
• Colaboración técnica con clientes, empresas y entidades de investigación.
• Generación y transferencia de conocimiento mediante informes, publicaciones y actividades de difusión.
• Identificación de oportunidades de investigación, innovación y desarrollo tecnológico.
• Participación en equipos multidisciplinares y contribución al desarrollo de capacidades del área.

Requisitos:

Los conocimientos necesarios para el desarrollo de esta actividad son:

• Investigación y desarrollo de sistemas autónomos aplicados a operaciones de manipulación y estrategias de manipulación robótica.
• Desarrollo de aplicaciones para robots industriales (Fanuc, ABB, KUKA).
• Programación en C, C++, Java y Python.

Se valorará adicionalmente:

• Programación de PLCs (Siemens, Beckhoff).
• Algoritmos de planificación y control para manipuladores robóticos.
• Técnicas de aprendizaje automático (Machine Learning).
• Sistemas de visión artificial.
• Arquitecturas software basadas en ROS y entornos de tiempo real.

Es imprescindible un buen dominio de español e inglés, tanto oral como escrito, ya que la persona participará en proyectos internacionales de I+D. Se valorará positivamente el conocimiento de euskera a nivel de conversación.

The role

At Helsing we deliver AI-based capabilities and the enabling foundation that allow machines to perceive and assist human decision-making. You will have the unique opportunity to shape AI capabilities in one of the most challenging sectors, where high generalisation capabilities need to be paired with hardware constraints and real-world robustness.

You will be part of a team pushing the boundaries of autonomous robotics through reinforcement learning. Your work will focus on designing, training and deploying RL-based controllers for robots operating in complex, unstructured, and dynamic real-world environments — where classical control approaches fall short. This includes enabling robots to perceive and understand their surroundings by fusing rich sensory inputs, including vision, to inform robust and adaptive control. You will own the full pipeline from simulation to deployment, ensuring that learned policies are robust, efficient, and ready for real-world operation under tight hardware constraints.

You should apply if you

• Hold an MSc or PhD in Robotics, Machine Learning, Control Engineering, or a closely related field, with a strong focus on reinforcement learning and robot control.
• Have hands-on experience training and deploying RL-based controllers on real robotic hardware, not just in simulation — you have seen your policies fall, iterate, and ultimately succeed on a physical system.
• Are deeply familiar with modern RL techniques for continuous control, including but not limited to: model-free methods (PPO, SAC, TD3), model-based RL, hierarchical RL, sim-to-real transfer strategies, domain randomisation, and curriculum learning.
• Have a solid understanding of robot dynamics, kinematics, and classical control theory (e.g. PID, model predictive control, trajectory optimisation), and know when and how to combine them with learned approaches.
• Are proficient in building and working with physics-based simulators (e.g. MuJoCo, Isaac Gym/Isaac Lab, PyBullet, Gazebo) for training and validating RL policies.
• Possess solid software engineering skills, writing clean and well-structured code in Python and/or languages like Rust or modern C++, and have experience deploying AI software to production including testing, QA, and monitoring.
• Have excellent communication skills and the ability to report and present research findings clearly and efficiently, both internally and externally.
• Are passionate about keeping up to date with current research and enjoy re-implementing and extending state-of-the-art papers.

Nice to have

• PhD in Robotics, Reinforcement Learning, Control Engineering, or related fields, with publications in top-tier venues (e.g. CoRL, ICRA, NeurIPS, ICLR, IROS, RSS).
• Experience developing controllers for highly dynamic robotic systems operating under complex contact interactions and demanding environmental conditions.
• Experience with vision-based perception for robotics control, such as depth estimation, visual odometry, or visuomotor policy learning.
• Familiarity with low-level motor control interfaces and real-time embedded systems constraints.
• Experience with online adaptation and meta-learning techniques to enable robots to adapt to changing environmental conditions
• Experience with sensor fusion (IMU, proprioception, exteroception, vision) to inform and enhance learned control policies.
