The role is designed to:

- Support early-stage ideation initiatives and existing product teams.
- Generate insights from usage data and customer behavior.
- Focus on exploratory analysis, identifying meaningful product and usage metrics.
- Develop indicators for evidence-based product decisions.
- Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to ensure actionable insights.

What will you do

- Analyze usage data and customer behavior to generate insights during early-stage ideation

- Support discovery and experimentation with exploratory analyses and rapid insights

- Define and evolve product and usage metrics that indicate success and value

- Work closely with product managers to translate questions and hypotheses into analyses

- Advise engineering teams on where and how data should be collected within applications

- Automate relevant metrics and analyses as products mature

- Take analytical ownership for products emerging from ideation initiatives

- Stay current with modern analytics techniques and AI-enabled analytical approaches

What you bring & who you are

- Strong experience in data analysis, analytics, or a similar hands-on role

- Excellent analytical thinking and ability to turn data into clear insights

- Proficiency with common analytics tools and languages (e.g. Python, SQL, BI tools)

- Experience working with product, usage, or behavioral data

- Proven interest in AI-enabled products and modern analytical approaches

- Curiosity and motivation to continuously learn and experiment

- Comfortable working in early-stage, exploratory environments

- Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders

- Fluent in English; German is a plus
